Quady I unfiltered you to read what you have said (you are the only one I had filtered). That does not make sense. NM desperately canvassed PI's for support (at the costs of the company) before the AGM because he knew that unless we supported him he would not get re-elected or there was a real risk he would not be. At the time I recall you said said the AGM has been a resounding success and NM was secure for 3 years and would be leading Solgold to production. NM looked utterly crestfallen at the AGM and hung his head, plus did not make any statement. If there had been consensus on him staying from the main SH's that would have been organised in an orderly manner and not a clear vote from them against his re-election.

RK do you think NM's re-election as director gave him the leverage to agree his resignation in exchange for deal with result the main shareholders get shot of him and he saves face by announcing some JV or sale before he thankfully exits the end of March?

I'm back in. A gamble but the election looks more clear and now putting trust in the new direction.

It is possible I will buy back in because I’ve now seem the huge swings that the SP can have. I’m very annoyed at the huge change of direction at the very last moment, the market has made a judgement on that already. I’m still contemplating the history since I bought in and the pro’s & cons going forward, hence why I value people post views on both.

FTJNY I take your point, but hopefully readers build in potential agendas when evaluating all posts. The issue is that it is only posters that post the drawbacks get shot down here.

I sold out the remaining half of my Solgold holding last week. I am very annoyed for various reasons, which are fairly obvious, but am keeping my eye on it to see if the new board gives me hope for the future. My point is that if anyone comes on here and said, surely 18p by the weekend, they get dived on. Anyway good like.

Keep ramping Crewtime! It seems that is permissible on this board but venting a negative view of Solgold's position or recent conduct is not.

If they don't reply they are busy with deadlines! is that taking the ****? You should ask them which one if they give that excuse.

IF there is some juicy data which indicates there is a potential surface mine or quicker route to production, would NM not have fired out an RNS on this when he was actually holding the steering wheel? As he was so desperate for votes before the AGM would we not have got wind of before that?

It's worth remember, based on that I have tried to never had any political or other loyalties, but admit I've f@@''ed up here. It's seems pretty poignant here today. RIP Joe.

Well that's it, I've changed my mind and sold the rest of my Solgold shares. Someone mentioned loss of trust again over lunchtime and that made up my mind.

Cheers DBW, I am very interested in anyone who speaks to them direct, as when we get RNS's like to today it can colour the trust /confidence one has. All in all I have decided to stay invested, but not impressed by NM's conduct one bit over the last few years.

DBW how do you interpret what Solgold reps told you a week or two back in the light of this RNS? I was worried sick this morning when i read the RNS, but in hindsight the fall so far at least is a lot more controlled than I expected. Fortunately I unloaded half my shares at 33/34p months back (before the later high in the 40's) but wish I'd sold the lot. I think there are some positive in that RNS e.g. it sounds like the actual miners think there is a quicker route to realising the asset, hopefully a more focused approach from now on and realistic RNS's rather than NM's flannel.

Now we know what NM meant by shock and ore/awe.

Shippy surely the point is that all jokes have a focal point and often it is irrelevant what it is save for to make the joke work. My view is that unless there is some malice , racism, or sexism etc then run with it. Otherwise we have a humourless society. As an example football supporters have in jokes about local derby teams, or at the moment Sheff Utd are the butt of the jokes. Is this fun all to stop because of the puritans? Stand up for your right to have an honest good humoured laugh (subject to the above).
