Well said Qualbashi. I can't wait to get out of this pile of dung. I know some people bought in in single pence figures so i can understand why hold NM in high esteem. For those of us with 3 year or less experience , his and the board's performance has been **** poor. NM has made many grandstanding statement but has never met a deadline during my time. The post AGM silence from NM is gutless. He only comments when it suits himself.
Reuters is a very credible source, they would not put their name to a press release without checking the source and authenticity. Bearing this in mind, the Board's silence will fan the smoke that something is going on. They may have been wrong footed but they cannot ignore this for too long. On the bright side (so far at least) the PI's that account for a lot of the daily SP fluctuations do not appear in the least bit bothered that NM may be on his way.
I think this is it: https://twitter.com/bigdude6669/status/1350214660390232064?s=21
I may be slightly out on the order of events but I think since the Porvenir and Cascabel updates we have had the following:
1. AGM where NM’s position has become untenable;
2. 20-25% share price drop; and
3. Press (inc. Reuters) that NM is on his bike
So Solgold must issue a new RNS in response to 3.
I emailed NM earlier this morning too asking the same and saying I had expected some statement or acknowledgement of the support that had saved him from being removed from office. In fairness he has generally replied to my previous emails. I shall post any response that adds anything.
I bought first at a price of around 35p in 2017(?) based on NM's assurances of an upward trend and multiple exit points and lots of planned updates. I now have an average or around 34p. Still I suppose news must be imminent....
Irrespective of holidays it is really poor form of NM not to have made some statement of appreciation for the support shown by small shareholders following the extraordinary plea for votes pre AGM. This could be done irrespective of what negotiations (if any) are going on in the background. Even if NM has been sat on the pot throughout the festive break he could have tweeted something.
I’ve read NM’s comments with interest. He looked completely crestfallen at the AGM and at least he has acknowledged he’s landed himself in the soup with BHO and NCM. Not sure what olive branch he’s offered at this stage. I don’t think saying ‘I’m sorry can we be friends again counts as one? We’ll see what happens anyway.
