Nicely, assuming you are genuine, might it be worth you buying a few shares at 30p to reduce your average / breakeven? I bought in years ago at 1.44p so 73p new money then when the Wrap was happening I topped up at 10.5p so 0.21p old money. I think this could be your solution.
Hi Trickey, I have been here for more years than I care to remember, originally buying at 1.44p which would be 73p in today's SP. The current SP is = to 0.5p pre-consolidation and in August 2022 the SP went above 9p which would be £4.50 in new money. So I would suggest that a 100% increase from the current SP will only be the start of the increase back to a more sensible MCap. I'm just hoping we see an RNS that says TM has told RF to FO. Full steam ahead.
I can't say I completely understand the arrangement with RF, but having originally bought in at 1.4p in old money,70p in today's currency, and seen the SP drop down to 0.2p and also seen it race up to 9p in August 2021 which is £4.50 in new money I decided the opportunity to buy at these levels was too good to miss. I had two top ups yesterday morning and another this morning. After many. many years here we are now expecting data from the trial in Q2 2024 ie any time in the next 12 weeks and if that news is positive I'm not sure it will matter how many shares RF sell the SP will only be going in one direction.
That seems to make sense, I was just being a bity grumpy yesterday when Barclays couldn't facilitate. I've been a bit out of touch recently although it strikes me if Sareum can get shot of RF, followed by some positive data from Oz then we could be in for a much more positive second half of the year.
I tried to participate in the WRAP Retail offer yesterday but when I contacted Barclays they said that they weren't able to facilitate and I'm sure I read that someone had the same issue with Halifax. Instead I bought this morning on the open market at 10.3p but I appreciate that doesn't help Sareum in the manner intended by the WRAP. If Sareum are looking to raise funds in such a way in the future, and clearly there is an appetite amongst the retail investors to support this, would Sareum be able to get Barclays, Halifax et al engaged in the process? I'm assuming many of us hold Sareum in our ISAs with "high street" banks, so surely this would increase the amount they could raise via LTHs?
Agreed, I thought it was pretty clear, Plan A and probably Plan B is to complete 1B and then licence. Which as I recall has always been the plan. I remember from the previous presentation how important it is to get the clinical data which will then lead to a licence deal and at a bigger £number.
Some great questions from the shareholders who attended, the 3 things I took away from it; 1 they are all incredibly confident and relaxed about the direction of travel and chance of success and were happy to share and reinforce this confidence including when discussing interest in 737 and what has been asked of them in terms of showing some clinical data for 1801 at which point a big pharma will rock up with a big bag of swag. 2 John Reader has clearly reached the end of his tether with MHRA and feels like they have d1cked him about hence going to a European regulator and 3 I have never seen or heard Tim be quite so upbeat, confident, animated and relaxed. This is a man who is cautious and conservative by nature and whilst very clever someone who never looks overly comfortable in the limelight, by contrast today he looked like he might put his feet up on the desk and light a big cigar. He has been working on this for many years and can see the finish line is in sight. There has been a delay caused by an under resourced bureaucratic regulator with their own agenda, nothing has changed with Sareum's products. We are currently at 1.3p in old money, and no speeding tickets were issued when we hit 9p.........
Apologies for taking the subject away from drivel but can I ask when Tim refers to partners RE 737 and given that Sierra are no longer involved have I missed something and does anyone know who he is referring to?
"As we assess opportunities to further develop this asset, subject to discussions with our partners, this is an encouraging development which reinforces our confidence in the potential of SRA737."
I've not been reading the board for a few weeks now, although I tuned in today and noticed that we seem to have attracted a massive Bell End who is spouting absolute tosh, which is encouraging although probably best not to engage directly.
