I'm sure I recall LK saying that they had conducted work to try and ensure that we had power even under extreme circumstances based on previous LGO experiences. I'm at work at the minute so can't go through all of the RNS and Media does anyone else who might follow CERP more closely remember this?
I appreciate that LiarLiarLiar will say ooh there are a lot more shares in issue now BUT I think it's worth noting that with MJ, Schroders and now Burggraben quite a large % of our shares are held by people with little or no intention of selling until After Cedros so 2019 could be particularly interesting.
& a mere 6 comments including mine. Come on CERPers as Delia would say; "Let's be 'aving you!"
Yes
WilliowPillow - of course it could be that Schroders are continuing to Hoover up shares around the 5p mark. Nothing in the previous RNS to suggest that they have reached their limit or target of % ownership.
Hi Gibbo, I wasn't meaning to lambaste you for rounding 9.23% up to 10% it was more WP's comment that Schroders had "only added 1.2%", yes only 1.2% of the entire company or an additional 384,000 investment. I'd say that is a fairly large vote of confidence in Mr Purple Tie getting the oil out of the ground that old Mr Burns knew was there but didn't have a Scooby how to get it out. I appreciate that DL isn't everyone's cup of tea and I have my own reservations as to what happened in the past but I think he was on to something RE the 800lb gorilla! Onward and upwards.
Sorry to be pedantic but I think what Gibbo meant is that Schroders have increased their holding from 13% of the total company to 14.2% which has increased their holding by 9.23%
Just saying ...................
John Teeling’s Clontarf Energy said it will work with the new Ghanaian government to agree a revised work programme on its long-delayed exploration activities in the west African state. The AIM-listed explorer also said it plans to “reinvigorate” the company and it is examining proposals for new projects, despite posting a £199,628 (€230,000) loss last year. In a statement to the market, Teeling said it is committed to its 60% interest in the Ghana licence and has reached agreement on a number of issues. “Certain issues remain outstanding and we are working to solve them. At $50 a barrel oil we believe the licence area holds significant potential,” he said.
Stick that $75 million in your pipe dream and smoke it.
Thanks for the detailed response, much appreciated, I have only been dabbling in shares for the past 18 months so I am learning all of the time. My plan having topped up at 38p is to sit tight and hopefully collect and re-invest a v good yield on the dividends. That said I may of course be tempted to cash in some of the profit should we resolve the Eurochem situation and see the return of £1.
Most of you guys will know far more about this share then I do so my question is; Whilst we still have the Russian legal situation is a return to £1 simply fantasy?
.... that the div yield at this price is c20% Glad I topped up at 38p and that we are heading North. I now have an average of 44p so hope that we can get Aabove that some time soon. GLA
I have just added another 6,613 SHFT shares (would have bought more but funds tied up in PFD). This has reduced my SHFT av to 48p. Lets hope everything gets resolved and we see £1+ ........
