I was of the impression our Utah efforts were in conjunction with Greenfield but the update mentions Valkor LLC as the potential partner. If I remember correctly, that is the part of the (Valkor) business the Norwegian co is looking to buy??

Agreed, and hopefully Maersk will need to pay a premium, (over MSC rates) for supply of MSAR and BioMSAR giving MSC a distinct competitive advantage.

Vauch, I can't say for sure but my understanding was the test plant had to be de=commissioned as site/licence was only granted on a temporary basis.

Furthermore, there seemed to be a fair bit of adjustment and re-engineering to the original plant, hence it would make sense to build the new one with hindsight, using "used" components where suitable???

It would appear Petroteq are looking to raise $18m via a PP @ 5c, with a view to clearing historic debts and building a new 500/bpd plant. It will be interesting to see if they achieve this as a continuously operating plant should take them to profitability, provide further proof of concept and help them (and others, Tomco??) to raise funds for further/bigger plants.

Maybe, just maybe things are about to get better there, despite the huge dilution involved???

"Following the relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions, Quadrise was able to gain access to the Client's facility in October 2020 and is pleased to confirm that the pilot plant trial has now been completed by the combined Quadrise and Client project team.
Quadrise and the Client are now working jointly on detailed plans for a larger, industrial-scale MSAR® trial at another Client site, which is planned for early Q1 2021, ahead of the commercial scale phase 2 trials.

This new industrial-scale MSAR® trial is intended to further demonstrate the wider potential of MSAR® at another site ahead of the commercial scale trials already being planned under phase 2 of the Agreement. The study work for the Phase 2 trials was brought forward earlier this year and is now well advanced; and, together, with the new industrial scale trial further minimises the risk of delay to the overall programme."

and Mike Indigo Kirk's comments at same time;
"We are therefore confident that during 2021 we will successfully validate the economic and environmental benefits of MSAR® at an industrial scale, complete the commercial scale trials on the Client's units and initiate commercial supply of MSAR® after concluding commercial supply agreements."

All we've had in the 2 years since is delays and excuses. Groundhog Day!!!!

I would say at least one commercial contract/client, producing enough income to cover basic annual costs. If by end next year, (when the "cash" is due to run out) we remain without a commercial contract, then I think the chances of raising further capital will be very difficult, if not impossible. Unless of course, at that time, a major deal is dare I say "imminent".

The timing of the conversion of the loan notes could indicate the holders believe the price is due to rise, or at least stay at this higher level, (than the conversion price) in future.

Although it also means further dilution, the stability of the SP would suggest to me underlying upward pressure with potentially increased buying on further good news to come.

The AGM has certainly been streamed in the past but not sure if that was just for Covid reasons???

That was my plan Vince, but as I said the other day, recent developments have rebuilt my confidence in the prospects for our eventual success. I now believe 4p is too low to start bailing. It will remain a moving target no doubt but for context, I have built a (for me) very large position here with 5m shares in my SIPP and 2m in an ISA, (I like round numbers!). When I do decide it's time to start selling, it will likely be in 100,000-200,000 tranches although a future buy-out order could change that??

Got to expect some down days as new investors from last week take profits, or investors who bought in a while back at 2.5p'ish get out having been spooked by drop to 1.2p. People will have many different reasons for selling at what seems an opportune time to buy, need cash, following a discipline etc. It's not as if the recent rise has anything to do with a good news release, more likely the increased promotion finding some new investors??

Like many LTSH, I believe the SP will be worth significantly more in the future and holding for another 12 months could really pay-off?

Yes, I agree, it's the best explanation. Time will tell.

Getting past 2.90p might be a significant short-term goal. I've read here many times our IIs have sold out but I'm not convinced myself and have not seen conclusive proof this is the case. It may well be they partially sold with a view to holding remainder in the hope of selling at purchase price, (2.90p).

I guess if we get to this figure and see an incease in selling activity again, it could indicate they are still in the game??

Great article thanks DoN, Vertoro really seem to have "bought-in" to the BioMSAR story.

These type of articles are a great help to potential investors doing due diligence prior to initial investment, explaining a complex process in layman's terms.
I'm sure even larger specialist investors and their research teams will have their interest piqued if discovering this story, although based on recent heavy selling, (if by IIs?) I would prefer buy-ins to come from many smaller investors for the time being.

The future potential for Quadrise and similar innovative companies is huge. Let's hope there's not too many bumps in the road to great success and riches...
