Great, just what we need, more "talking the talk".

I remain hopeful of an RNS before end Feb saying "Morocco trials successfully completed, discussion for terms of commercial fuel supply contract have commenced and both sides hope to reach agreement in H1 this year".

However, my hopes will be significantly diminished should radio silence on this project continue for another 2 weeks.

I don't "expect" anything with QFI. As I said earlier, I am hopeful the industrial trial completes this month but for all we know the MSAR may still be stuck in customs, waiting for a palm to be greased?

I don't think anyone would invest almost £500,000 in a company like Tomco unless they were very confident in its future??

I am hopeful but far from confident the trials (with OCP?) will be completed this month and if they are not, IMO they never will be. All the rhetoric I've read from OCP over the last 12-24 months has been towards vastly reducing their use of fossil fuels and while future BioMSAR concoctions might meet their needs, they are a long way away. It's now or never for me...

Anyone got the faintest idea how long the "preparations" to Leandra will take? Three weeks ago we were told this work is scheduled to be COMPLETED in Q2/23.

What's the latest date for dry-dock entry in order to adhere to this schedule?

Also, with the Moroccan "logistical" issues expected to have cleared by end Jan, can we look to the industrial trial starting imminently??

Or perhaps, they are supremely confident there will be no issues with the MSAR or BioMSAR and are holding back their schedule of trial/implementation until the last minute, to ensure all the infrastructure and fuel partner are aligned to meet regulatory deadlines for cleaner fuel?

While I admit it is difficult and I can be one of the worst offenders, I think it would help to take a leaf out of Fitzy's book and try to stay a bit more positive.

We all have our doubts as to our senior executive's performance and competence whether as businessmen, project managers or dare I say it "salesmen". However, I'm sure they're not idiots and are even more aware of the need for commercial success before they even consider coming out with the begging bowl towards the end of the year.

Surely they will have some good news on tangible progress for us in Q1/Q2, which should have a positive effect on the SP. I can't believe they're burying their heads in the sand waiting on the cash runway end, when the company and their lucrative salaries hit the buffers.

If you google Matthew Jones Tomco, it produces a Linkedin page for a guy who has been a senior project manager at Shell for the last 25 years. Could it be him?

Noel, no need to look at any charts. When the SP was over 2p, I said on a news vacuum, I could see this drifting back down to 1.5p range. At that point however it seems to meet significant resistance, possibly as short-term traders have sold out and LTHs are not interested in selling at this lowly price. Hell, I've no intention of selling below 4p!!

I get the feeling some good news releases could drop in the coming weeks re-kindling buying demand from existing/previous investors as well as introducing new buyers to the QFI story.

Could just be wishful thinking though???

To be honest I'm just hoping for some positive progress on both projects and SP to allow me to vastly reduce my exposure here. Perhaps another good run this spring/summer might provide me with an opportunity to sell, although I will retain a smaller holding for the glory days when Jason leads us to the promised land;-)

Maybe BDO see us as too small for their portfolio? Who knows, they may have MCap lower limits and the low SP means we're dropped. Certainly hope it's nothing sinister...

Sounds like "shorter" Noel is unhappy at the 1.5p resistance, back doing his level best to talk down the SP.

Obviously MSC see the huge future financial advantage they will enjoy over Maersk by using Quadrise fuels and don't want to share this with their biggest rival;-)

I could understand BioMSAR having "issues" clearing customs as a new fuel but MSAR has already been supplied and tested as part of the initial trial completed back when Rabbie Burns was a laddie!!

I think most of us believe the Morocco client is OCP?? which as I understand it is majority owned by the Moroccan Govt. If what we've been told, that the client is very keen to progress the trials, I find it hard to believe they don't have the clout to get the customs issue sorted. Something seems off to me?

Hopefully things proceed to commercial contract in the first half of the year, "as planned" ;-)

I would like to see both MSC and Shell buy a stake in QFI. Would certainly be a positive sign and huge boost for the company.

Well said Monkeymo. Their silence will not be forgotten when next they come rattling the "share offer" tin.

With their negligible shareholdings, they do not give a damn about the SP or shareholders. So long as their huge salaries come thudding into their bank accounts every month.

Another day, another drop, back towards 1.5p as I suggested would happen. All the while radio silence from Eastcastle House....
