Would alsobwelcome more regular updates on the status from SAV, including the easements situation and reasons for delay.

Upton40 - I agree it is concerning that the easements are still awaited and if they are not announced soon then there will be an increasing risk of further delaying the vital milestones which could prove fatal for SAV's funding, so I sincerely hope that SAV are pushing hard on the easements rather than just letting things run their course as they must be aware as locals that such depts drag their feet, especially in Portugal.

Kentan - yes, from a totally different pre-lithium era. Now the only focus for SAV is lithium and being the big player for EU supply so the EU focus is very important to get support and funding like the Grant, so to turn to the Saudis could be a bad move tactically....IMHO.

Kentan - I think the priority is for a fully EU based supply chain and investment rather than allow "outsiders" in such as Saudis who would likely want controls and farm out type deals. SAV needs to be fully EU funded I would think, and surely that will be more than workable.

....hopefully on the sniff of positive news about the easements coming very soon

Just 2 trades in but already over double the volume traded yesterday ! Very strange.....

Any announcements are better held off until the new year anyway when most of the important people are back at their desks to see and digest it properly, rather than during the festive period when they are either busy rounding things off for the year or on holidays. It is important now that any newsflow has the chance of maximum positive impact rather than lost in the distraction of other things.

Superb to read today's RNS and dismiss that challenge to the project....let's hope further good newsflow is issued regularly over next 12 months to get the sp shifting upward significantly as its value becomes apparent to more.

Well now our trousers are just hanging onto our toenails.....not impressed at more big dilution so soon after last bout. Oversubscription mentioned....I doubt it !

Better get a move on then, as only 6 full weeks to go if taking xmas weeks out of the equation!

They'll likely appeal as delaying things as long as possible is part of their agenda and continuing their fight is necessary to try to gain numbers in support, but it'd be nice if they got the message now at 8 down !

Anyone here know if these electoral results look likely to favour or harm SAV & MdB....or no impact/ change?

Easements

Hope you're right about the basements, IB, as the SP definitely in need of a few kickers so that might help.

Even 8p (briefly) was over 7 years ago now and still seems a long way off yet.....

Ha ha, if only....that would generate some serious buying interest at this level !

IB - absolutely SAV need to avoid any further delays as it erodes the value via dilution through further fundraising the longer it takes to become profitable. My belief is that if SAV had exercised their legal powers over land rights as soon as they could then we would now be further down the line. The longer this drags on the more I fear that us LTH's may not actually end up seeing a great deal of gain to reward our patience as it seems that much more dilution of our holding lies ahead before we see SAV making money and the SP making meaningful gains....but fingers will remain firmly crossed for no more delays or setbacks and a highly profitable producing mine within the next 3 years.

That was my point on Sept 5th when I said SAV shouldn't have been so softly-softly and should have imposed their legal rights to avoid delays, but you (et al) seemed to take exception to that view, so I'm not clear why now you are questioning why it's taken so long ? The softly-softly approach is the reason...simple as that.

IB - that was my point. SAV acting like residents as opposed to a mining business is not working to their favour is it? Fine if they don't mind the mine ultimately failing but I for one do not wish to entertain that thought and I'm sure not many fellow shareholders would. They've tried the gentle approach and it's resulted in delays which means delayed profit and financial risk to the project, which is not good. Can't exactly invest in a mining project and try to take an ethical stance...mining is a dirty business on many fronts and trying to disguise that fact is fruitless and costly imo.
