JH77 - that's true in the real world, but in the share markets any negative news is pounced on and punished my the markets as that is all part of how they make their money. Let's just hope that only positive news flows from IOG now and we can all finally see IOG rise to an sp that it deserves with the current and foreseeable gas market.

As long as Southwark comes through on schedule into full production without any delays, mishaps or disappointments then I think IOG will get much more buying interest and the sp should shoot higher but the big holders could reduce the gains if they sell big chunks off. I'm hoping we can get to approaching 50p prior to that so £1 region might be possible with Southwark flowing strongly?

Ridiculous over-reaction on sp and wish I had funds to buy more. Such a tiny area of project disputed, makes one wonder if worth cost to challenge ? SAV bought land according to registered areas so not at fault here yet sp getting hammered. Seems SAV are being made to push water uphill to develop an asset that would be worth fortunes to Portuguese economy ! Beggars belief really.

Pathetically small director buys that risk doing almost more harm than good as it hardly shows much confidence in the company prospects when highly paid directors only spare what they probably consider loose change as a token gesture.

IOG have stiff competition up against the massive volume of gas that Boris has been spouting for ages....once he goes then things might improve !

Dunderhead - not so, as on previous occasion it was over a week after the problem before they RNS'd and only when they'd devised an effort at a temporary fix, so no doubt they would take same approach again but wait even longer to avoid issuing same bad news. Given up expecting timely communication from IOG and just hanging out for the ultimate RNS about a takeover approach as nothing else seems capable of shifting the sp northward significantly given the sell into good news approach of large holders.

Ominous and disgraceful if a negative RNS hits down soon as yet more clear evidence of leaked info to the priviliged to take advantage but no regulatory investigation will follow as its just put down to AIM. Could be the end for IOG if it's curtains for production from Blythe and Elgood due to further problems.

It's a disgrace how IOG still fail to keep investors updated with newsflow. Only assumption is that Blythe & Elgood issues have resurfaced so flow likely to have stopped again
but we wont be told until they come up with their next band-aid solution . Think the issues may be insurmountable so all hopes now pinned on Southwark to save IOG hitting the buffers but as that will feed into the same terminal then not convinced that will be much better. How no stable flow has been established yet is pathetic IMO. Very close now to bailing as IOG clearly have major issues and a BOD that can't cope and fail to keep Pis like us informed but damn sure the major investors are being updated behind the scenes or they would surely have bailed out entirely by now ? So ****ed off with this pathetic management. No bid at the low sp vs value suggests those in the know are aware of the issues so won't touch it with a bargepole.

I wonder if SAV being a UK company has hindered progress with approvals and if we were still in EU then obstacles would be less ? Can't imagine EU want a UK company profiting massively from supplying the EU with Li !!?

I trust I'm not being naive when I say that surely IOG have the necessary expertise to know that Southwark can be flowing by end of Q4 and that the issues being discussed here will not prevent that target.
