At a value of only 11m I would rather IOG just paid the loan off and cancelled the loan notes instead of diluting the company further and the value of our shares as a consequence. Surely with the cash flowing in from production (including Southwark soon) that should pose no great problem.

Concerning if there is a lack of water intervention area, as how did they plan a mine in such an area? Surely that must have been addressed inthe plan ?!

Panicked at seeing this news headline just now, but it's on trainline in Southwark, London ! Obviously hope nobody hurt.

I should expand on that....I don't mind them doing it on the massive earners like Shell and BP, but leave out the relative minnows like IOG that are just starting up in relative terms.

On TV this morning I'm sure they said both candidates supported an increased windfall tax ! Hope Truss gets in if she really won't impose it.......but never trust a politician, especially when trying to canvass votes.

I also agree Chameleon ! Which is what I was getting at. I wasn't saying don't get external supply too to supplement but the intense scrutiny and delays caused to SAV's MdB project is ridiculous if they really want to have EU supply sources. I'll bet they don't scrutinise the external supply sources in this way and just sign on the dotted line if the price is right, so environmental concern stops at EU border, which isn't really what it should be about is it !

I think that's quite negative for SAV to read that the EU trade commissioner is pushing for deals with Chile and Australia to supply Lithium......I'd far rather they focus on pushing through projects like MdB than negotiate deals outside EU. Surely the cost benefits of not shipping it should favour us ? And why can the EU simply turn a blind eye to other countries environmental issues of mining Lithium without favouring SAV with their project which has taken account of the environment issues all along ? Not great reading for SAV imo.

Starting to wonder if there is a positive news leak regarding the EIA given today's healthy sp increase and the chunky buys. If the sp continues on a trajectory through the 4's tomorrow then I'll be expecting an RNS by end of the week.

Does make me wonder if Southwark coming into production in Q4 will just initiate another big sell off like Blythe and Elgood did ?! Surely with winter pricing in full effect at that time then the sp should rise more strongly and put up more resistance against any selling headwind ? Fingers crossed anyway and also for no hiccups along the way.

Ironknut - that's as may be, but farmout deals will be on the table if and when the EIA/DIA is approved so the price will of course be relevant in negotiating the value of any such deal, hopefully in early 2023, when SAV sp should really start to take off.

Wow ! someone offloading big today with £275k worth sold in two trades half hour ago. Must have some big energy bills to pay ?!

I'd say less as they can't just wine, dine and schmooze a few investment houses to get deal done as thousands of retail investors involved to each make a decision without such schmooze influence involved.

My 26k top up this pm reported as a sell on here ! Useless info reporting on lse site and surely they should be monitored for accuracy of reporting. As others have said previously, it can't be hard to report the trades properly.
