is there a massive backlog of decent films? Tenet flopped. What we talking Bond?

I presume most filing is on hold at time moment anyway so even if the Cinema's reopen in the new year there'll be a lack of quality content.

The finances are a bit of an unknown at the moment. No real data to go on. There are a couple of RNS that point to what revenue is expected from the first monetisation in October and the second monetisation is due to start in March next year. We’re also piloting in the Middle East which should finish end of 2021 and there is talk of UK pilot and possibly USA.

Even for those who believe in cinema you would have to be pretty stupid to not realise there is a massive pivot towards streaming. I think Disney is just the start. Plus people already pay to rent films at home. This will just be an extension to watch them even sooner. Plus TV/cinema set up is not only getting better cheaper as well.

I don’t know whether it’s me getting old and grumpy but films are definitely not as good as they used to be. Too many franchises type films Marvel, Star Wars, etc, etc, that just focus on annual releases rather than quality.

In fact I can’t remember the last film I got excited about, possibly the Irishman, but I watched than on my iPad in a hotel one night on a business stop over.

I think a lot of the vaccine scepticism is around how long it usually takes to make one effective and that no matter who makes it it’s being rushed.

I reckon the aviation industry my already thought about a decent tracking system for cargo previously lol.

Sorry Kyle no company goes to £60m net profit in year 2 no matter how scalable. The problem with where we are at the moment is there is very little information to extrapolate from, we don’t know what the cost base is. We need a set of accounts so we can assess properly. This is all pie in the sky so far.

In terms of the €300m monetisation it would be interesting to know if that is fully drawn down or is that the facility that has been created and the companies draw down as and when needed, like an RCF facility.

Plus is the service fee relative to the amount drawn down or the facility as a whole, with a non-utilisation fee (hopefully) for any indrawn facility. That’s how a standard banking arrangement would work.

Plus how do we know the £6.5m is paid upfront? I would have expected for this to be billed monthly or quarterly, especially if the point of the facility is to improve clients cash positions.

What about the costs to actually run the business? Management and staff salaries, overheads, research and development of the platform, data centres, cloud costs, marketing, legal, etc, etc? We’re potentially running cross three regions - very expensive. They will not run at 1.5% of revenue, that’s gross margin.

I agree with Cahoodle. I’d take on air to mean live and refers to the first batch on monetisation in the RNS hopefully all going to plan. I think the info on the Middle East is interesting in that the pilot is not expected to be completed until the end of next year. These seem more realistic time scales to me. So in FY 20/21 we’ll have at least two monetisations in Italy and an ongoing pilot in ME. 21/22 hopefully finished pilot in ME and first monetisations and ongoing Italian monetisations. It will be interesting to see when UK pilot will start and how long that will take to get up and running - my guess would be 21/22 at the earliest. USA 22/23?

AZ is going to need to make some quality hires to roll this out and presumably a base in each jurisdiction.

What are the FCA likely to do? For better or worse we have a free press.

Flyer. Audits are largely based on sampling and accepting the explanations of management for questions they might pose. It’s not a 100% foolproof process, which is why so many scandals slip net. Quite often it’s a policy tick box check, do you have xyz in place, yes move on, etc, etc.

We’ve not got proof of concept though, this is only in it’s infancy.

The reasons are of boohoos own making imo. The auditor resigning for me questions the integrity of the numbers and whether they are built on a house of sand. Are the margins so good because they are built on slave labour, etc, etc.

I’m in two minds whether or not wait for the bottom and take what will be a bumpy ride or give it twelve months and see if anything else transpires.

JR problem is the latest two bits of good news have depressed the SP. I think the next big catalyst will be acceptance into the UK and then the USA. Exposure to proper decent markets with strong regulatory regimes, I’m still sceptical while it’s only operating in Italy. I think a lot the current expectation is priced in the spike back in August.
