Jones - It is priced in - they’ve told us what is going to happen and what it’s affect on the accounts will be. This is why so many people are left disappointed for months with the lack of rockets. It’s still in the early phases and we need to see some commercial performance in order to raise the price. The boost from the concept came in aug when it shot up, since then it had been on a downward trend and hasn’t budged on any of the recent RNS other than spikes which have made the traders money.

I’m becoming more and more convinced of the concept the more I research (I jumped in on the initial frenzy, bailed out at a loss when I thought something didn’t smell right, but have since re-entered in the mid 40’s) I’m dubious about some of the numbers being banded about in terms of revenue and more so net profit. But if we get regulatory approval, if the accounting stacks up, if we break UK and US, it will be lucrative.

For those who want to know about the pricing in of information from an academic point of view have a read of something called the efficient market hypothesis. It might help you see where I’m coming from. Not trying to be condescending as I’m sure many of you will be fully aware of it.

Look I know I’m being negative again but I don’t think this is going to budge the SP. we know it’s happening, they’ve already told us therefore is should be priced in.

If they say we’ve finished storm harbour, was twice oversubscribed and we’re bringing the second monetisation forward by two months then I would expect a boost. Concrete facts on uk and middle east are needed and those all important accounts - but even they will only be up to 30/09/20 but will give a small indication of the cost base.

I can understand the insurance and onboarding fee but why would they pay the service fee upfront?

You won’t get figures by the end of this week. If they absolutely rushed them out maybe the week after.

Plus the £6.5m is annual revenue. - not the month of October. Look at the lag between trading updates on other companies and the end of the reporting period they cover. It’s not 0 days.

If you’re an LTH then nothing to worry about. Plus there is a sell off happening at the moment, loads of headwinds (US electro in, Covid, Brexit, etc).

I love the enthusiasm guys but it’s completely at odds with what we are being told in the RNSs. RNS states Middle East pilot will only finish at the end of 2021 and you guys are talking hitting four regions next year. The regulatory work hasn’t been done in Italy yet let alone Middle East, UK and USA.

Don’t know what it’s like in the other regions but dealing with UK government is a slow and painstaking process as is agreeing financing with banks. Companies are still agreeing COVID financing deals now that started at the outbreak in March/April.

Most companies have some sort of finance in place with existing lenders so we either need to wait for those deals to renew or see if the new wheel can sit over say existing asset backed lending arrangements (which are common). Another example, could a company that has say invoice financing in place (also common) also use SYME?

In the US it seems inventory monetisation isn’t actually new so the market would need penetrating against what would most likely be massive competitors.

There seems to be a vacuum at the moment. The same could be applied to Boris & Corbyn.

Everything I have been seeing on CNBC suggests that the markets have priced in a Biden victory. I’ve lost count of the amount of times Trump has said something and holding has gone down, usually something about China or the EU that affects global trade.

I think the immediate priority will be sorting out the stimulus and I assume a Biden package will be more generous. Corporate taxes will likely go up though which will impact any uk companies with US earnings.

The dollar is back in free fall again so we need to keep an eye on it. String sterling is generally bad for exporters again.

Other than the high risk aim stocks, SYME & USA I tend to dip in and out of everything else as my mood takes me or a have a gut feeling. For example on Friday I bought back into Boohoo after the recent drop. I’ve just checked my portfolio (usually once a week) and it’s done terribly recently. There are a lot of headwinds at the moment Covid, US election, Brexit, etc, etc. Not everything is down to MM, etc. Just be comfortable in the belief of your decision to invest here and wait for the winds to change.

Nothing beats an investment in the stock market over the long term as long as you’ve diversified and only invested money you can afford to lose so strap in and enjoy the ride.

I think his problem was that he was a bit amateur in his engagements with investors and general PR in the first place. I remember them retweeting a fake article not so long ago and had to issue a tweet explaining that it needed to be verified.

Looks like he must have some professionals on board now though and has smartened up his act.

Yeah I’m treating all my COVID stocks as a medium term hold and bank the profits dead quick. The rapid testing has got some good mileage in it for airports, theatres, etc, probably even with a vaccine. Make some hay while the sun shines but have a pretty swift exit strategy.

I’m in Astra Zeneca (ftse) and they are practically giving the vaccine away in the short term but I have that as a long term safe hold.

That’s because your using 1p as your benchmark though right, I use %.

I’ve had punts on GGP, KEFI, SNG & AVCT as well but more followed the crowd as I don’t really understand mining or healthcare so haven’t managed to get in early.

WG - I really don’t get this. Surely the bagging is just a percentage from one point to the next and you have to look at any gains in terms of % rather then £ or p.

So it’s therefore irrelevant if a 1p share becomes a 10p share or a £1 share becomes a £10 share they are both x10. So in your GGP example you would have just owned more shares that had a lower value.

Demon - I’m not trying to sow seeds of doubt. I’ve been upfront about what my concerns are and ask a lot of questions and pick holes and probe where I feel gaps exist. Downside research is vital. This is the second time in the last week or so posters have been admitted to being burned by this not meeting their expectations in the timescales required. Someone mentioned it earlier that it’s slowly sinking in that this is a slow burner and not a get rich quick scheme.

I’ll discuss any aspect of this with anyone who can hold an adult conversation so you have no worries.
