I'd beware shorting Rivian.

The shares are in seriously sticky hands from what I've seen on CNBC.

The CEO personally selected who received the subscription shares and they have mainly gone to long term iis and sovereign funds.

I think Ford and Amazon are heavily invested as well, with Amazon pretty much wanting to buy everything they produce.

I took some profits yesterday from elsewhere and doubled my holding here.

Something is clearly brewing.

I can’t speak for the others but I’ve banked my Tesla profits over a number of sale and am over 10x on the holding I still have left so you’re barking up the wrong tree.

As for shorting I think it’s a perfectly rationale hedging technique which most retail investors don’t understand. I don’t but the conspiracy theories, manipulation, etc, etc, and consider myself a sensible, logical, well diversified investor.

So Eileen you can try and patronise me all you want to just goes to show how truly disingenuous and despicable you are.

We’ve got revolving credit facilities of around £100m so I don’t think a cash raise is necessary. Especially if we can be cash flow positive in twelve months time. Looking at the balance sheet and cash flow statements we have increased stock by £14m and debtors by 18m which has tied up cash. Provided the stock is sold at the new increased margin and we don’t suffer any major bad debts the working capital should improve over the next twelve months significantly.

So I would say the cash burn isn’t pi55ed up the wall, so to speak, but the working capital balance has shifted back to stock/debtors from cash.

If you recall back to last year a large effort was made to turn stock into cash by heavy discounting - this is a reversal of that policy in my opinion. Also the reason why online sales are down so heavily.

He’s sold a small % of his holdings. Even if he sells 10% I hardly think you can call that at exit.

I’m expecting a decent pullback in the tech shares at some point, which will be healthy in the long run. I hold draftkings. Apple, Disney and Shopfiy as well as Tesla.

It would have to be an almighty drop to wipe out my gains though.

Frasers is a trade on a CFD which has decent upward momentum. I’ll be in and out with a stop and a limit set. I wouldn’t call it a investment. It’s a trade. Some as I do with boohoo and have done very successfully since the slave story come out.

I’ve held TED for around 18 months since it hit rock bottom and it’s a turnaround story with a decent worldwide brand and priced attractively for a future takeover. It’s got a large institutional shareholder with sticky hands.

Wyndrum is probably the most under valued poster on LSE.

I’ve also got a holding in Ted Baker today who have pretty much said they have been unaffected by all the cost pressures that everyone else is suffering from.

I suppose at this stage the BOD are doing what is expected of them.

There’s probably a lot of cash going into M&S and ABF at the moment.

The US has had an inflation wobble. Every time this happens high growth tech shares get battered, which is essentially the NASDAQ.

The US market is probably due a decent size correction as it’s been on fire recently.

Berkshire Hathaway has underperformed the major averages for well over a decade.

Gambling stocks over in the US have been struggling.

There’s some regulatory and cost pressures and the cost of the customer acquisition is quite high.

I’m not entirely sure why we’d be wanting all those shops to be honest when surely the future is to remain online.

I don’t mind chief, he’s a bear fair enough.
