Plus does your average PI actual understand fundamentals? Can they properly read and understand a profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow? Do any of them actually have any financial credentials, not likely.

I’ve bought some shares today. Actual shares to love and to hold for the longer term rather than a trading position.

Institutions are the ones more likely to have short positions as they hedge their risk.

They can do the numbers but the customer acquisition cost through digital marketing will be high. I’m seeing it pop up all over the place now which is good. It’s expensive though.

My concern at this stage is what is the actual operation. Somebody else is manufacturing, there doesn’t seem to be any premises so I assume the distribution is also being done by someone else. If we go down the retail route someone else is selling for us also. How big are the margins and what is our actual piece of the pie once all these partners have taken their chunk?

So I don’t think this will hit the shops any time soon.

He’s a minority shareholder but the face of the company.

I doubt he handles his investments unless they are his passions like the sports clubs, etc.

The one thing I’d say about the Beckham’s is they seem to have always surrounded themselves with very good people with the handing their brand and business interests.

I’ve always traded Boohoo medium term.

But if it gets much lower I’ll be adding it to my long term hold portfolio.

I’ve just got back from a Christmas shop with the mask wearing and four year old in tow. Not a good experience. My view on all these restrictions , mask wearing, etc, was that the point of the vaccines was supposed to allow us to get back to normal. Otherwise what was the point.

As for clImate change, etc, I posted on this board a few weeks ago for the all the folk that want old and gas banned without a viable alternative. Look at what happens to the consumer price once O&G become scarce.

The problem is the science on the vaccine hasn’t been done fully yet in terms of its effectiveness, duration, etc.

What certainly can’t be denied is that it’s reduced the volume of serious illness and therefore death.

I’ve had a flinch through the accounts this evening and there is not really a lot to go on given it’s not really got started yet.

Heavy costs due to listing but to be fully expected. At the end of August there wasn’t much stock being carried (hard to tell exactly without knowing the margin) but I assume this would have been ramped up leading to December.

There doesn’t appear to be any premises, plant, fixtures, leases, etc, so I assume the manufacturing is being outsourced?

The concerning part for me they’ve burned through £800k+ on marketing by the end of august before the product has even launched.

My draftkings shares have been obliterated.

Digital marketing will end up the biggest drain on cash.

Total necessity with a direct to consumer model.

Grocery market share has been pretty static for the last five year’s so not entirely sure what you’re talking about.

I think the problem is at the current price point it’s hard to gage what the addressable market actually is. Especially when going direct to consumer.

I’ve made a decentish profit in a small amount of time so I was another one that cashed out today but I wish you all well and I’m keeping this on my watchlist to jump back in once it’s further along and the picture becomes clearer.
