@techni - good spot - here's hoping for a nice volume spike ( 10-15mn will do) to confirm we have traded through the neckline/resistance into breakout territory - it would be very nice to see the 460p mark in the coming qtr I am half expecting that the prospectus should be out today/tomorrow if the usual 20 day rule is applied as 23rd Dec is rapidly approaching - if so that might be the catalyst.

@Gerry557 - in a nutshell - IMF just granted RMB reserve currency status yesterday - that has v positive implications for SC sp - IMHO RMB will reverse its 10% august devaluation in short order ( after all they only devalued so they could get IMF nod as a reserve currency)...short term pain for long term gain !!. SC sp will benefit significantly in relation to above. SC real strategic value is not its trading activity as a bank but in its ability to help internationalise the RMB for the worlds second largest economy - so watch this space. Bill Winters didn't join SC to just turn around a Tier II/III bank - he is far too well connected and strategic for that role.

@GS - indeed , I was referring to the van guard of funds/ MM knowing there is a turn to be made once entry is known and tracker funds need to acquire - bit of a squeeze play - I suspect that is what we are starting to see already ahead of prospectus.

@GS - indeed new highs today and more to come - we are I believe into breakout territory and momentum will play a key role between now and FTSE250 entry in March. Re Trackers - I think you may be confusing the investor into the tracker fund with the buying of the constituent stocks by the tracker fund itself. It is the tracker fund who buy the shares in the FTSE constituents on a weighted average basis of the overall market value of the stock to the market value of the index. Investors then buy units in the tracker fund. I agree 450 come March is v doable perhaps before :) GLA Wolf At 376.5p- and rising as I write.

IMHO - This is way oversold and will rise significantly in next 6 months - I think we will look back in 6 months and go wow that was cheap.

IMHO - A close above 380p today with further rises during the week to take us past 400p - with the prospectus due to land in next few days ahead of 23rd there will be the inevitable buying ahead of stamp duty on FTSE share entry - especially by FTSE trackers buying now and FTSE250 from March - reward for patience with more to come once we get trading update in January.

...for a nice upside breakout into christmas, come on santa lets see 400p+ in the next week GLA

Spot on there GS - lets hope Deutsche now start the re-rating process to peers which is long overdue here's a thought - tracker funds are going to have to buy PAYS stock come 20 March when it enters FTSE250 no matter how high SP goes - this will not be lost on the likes of Deutsche - so we might see a significant re-rating over the next quarter - a forced buyer is manna from heaven especially for a tech stock :) Happy days - GLA

@Jerry76 - well the 70p has been broken nicely today- here's to a good trading update tomorrow and a march back to above 100p in coming weeks - who knows maybe one of the stalking horses will pounce GLA

Thanks Techni - I like the look of the RSI also especially as we are new highs and we are not in overbought territory - personally I get the feeling that this uptick has momentum - as you pointed out it is retesting the trend line much more quickly than on previous occasions

Strong buying into the close - I wonder are we about to get some news ?

I think we are heading for a new year high - IMHO MM must be hearing the right noises about the interims - obviously there are a couple of potential stalking horses out there as well who could further up their holding - at these levels 100p is not insurmountable in the near term

PAYS move to FTSE 250 is expected to be March, however it could move to the main market any day once approvals are received - I wouldn't be surprised if move to main market ( but not included in FTSE250 index) sometime this month or early December - and further inclusion in the index come March.

....starting to look like the next leg up is coming, some nice rises off the back of what look like buys - perhaps someone is building their stake ?

clearly a discernible pattern has emerged on this stock by MM - dip sp from open to 2:30 with bounce towards close - do that for several days/weeks in a row and create a little frustration and Pi's sell out a chunk - MM pick up stock cheap and then bang out comes announcement and it gaps up - easy money all round if in the know Prospectus must be getting close :) GLA

Spot on BobbyS - template rubbish I would say that website has all the intellectual capital of a 8 yr old operating the website out of his bedroom - pure drivel

The important thing I picked up is that they have a strong management team, well integrated and who are firing on all cylinders - thought the COO did a great job in presenting - very polished message. If you compare to a few years ago when just JL and Keith ( former CFO) presented there is a lot more depth. I also like the fact that the guys that helped build the acquired business are still there and running those business - very intelligent of the group. The cross sell is obviously huge across the product range in terms of creating a vertical/horizontal product offering with multiple points of revenue in the transaction. Argues well for the future
