I've been here since 2009 and remember this BB was busy if it got one post per month and the SP was .7p. It will be very gratifying if this does hit the £20-30 mark before I get too old to enjoy the dosh and It will be nice to have a couple of mil in the bank. Congrats to all holders here and thanks to all the super researchers on this board that have confirmed my continuing faith in AS and Avacta. GLA.

Anybody who has watched the Vox interview with Alastair Smith should be completely blown away by the information imparted and should be feeling completely satisfied with their investment.

And yet, people insist on posting that "Avacta are" instead of "Avacta is." A company is a single entity. Would you say that a car are parked outside, no, of course you wouldn't, so why say that Avacta are?

One of my better investments this one. Investors' Chronicle suggests that the figures at the end of the month could be "eye watering", so looking forward to that and a bit of cheer in these dismal times.

Somewhere in my loft I probably have a record of when I first made the terrible mistake of buying into this pile of cr4p. I am now the proud owner of 2 shares worth absolutely zilch. What a waste of time.

The reason this board is dead is because people like me who bought way back in March 2017 for 14.7p, gave it up as a bad job and haven't bothered with it since, and that's how I still see it, as a dead duck. Avacta used to be a nice quiet board until covid shot it up, now, apart from a few excellent posters, the site is a bun fight of the lowest order, so be careful what you wish for.

Made a rash decision and bought on recommendation by TW, after all, he suggested SWC a few weeks ago and I'm up 21% on those, so why not. Just a toe dipping.

I am going to wait for the first acquisitions to gauge the effect on the sp before buying more.

I bought in this morning on the strength of TWs recommendation and the track record of Ms Murria. It might be a dog, but on the other hand it could be a goer. We’ll have to wait and see.

Yup, as a holder since 2009 and a big supporter of Avacta and AS, even I’m getting really fed up with the situation, but as for selling up, that will take a great deal of nerve which I haven’t got at present as I am still well in profit and there is still a glimmer of hope, however, one more big drop and I’m out.

It could also be a good training tool to see if even kids van use it in preparation for the antigen test.

Personally, having met Alastair on a number of occasions and even had lunch with him, I'm getting sick and tired of reading snide comments about his new house. If you had any idea about how hard he and his team have been working to further the work with Affimers and to increase the value of AVCT shares then you would shut the hell up and maybe even appreciate that he has earned the right to sell some of his shares to improve his living accomodation. I can assure you that you will not meet a more genuine guy than AS who actually cares about his shareholders. So give the guy a break and keep your stupid *****y comments to yourself.

I would like to think that the Avacta test is being involved in a passport type of test incorportating a phone app and this is taking some time to develop to make sure it can't be abused and used on multiple occasions. Having met Alastair on a number of occasions, I find it very difficult to believe that there is anything underhand going on and that he is trying to pull the wool over anybody's eyes. I don't blame him for flogging a few shares to upgrade to a better house, good for him. He deserves it.
