I am left with 48 shares worth stuff all and that's why I no longer waste my money on these loser penny shares. I came to this conclusion about three years ago after losing quite a lot of money in the years before that, so now it's only the good stuff where you make small amounts of money slowly but surely. You are right though, this bod should be strung up as should be many others, but it won't happen and it's our fault for falling for this rubbish in the first place. Hopefully investors are gradually getting smarter, because there are some great companies out there giving great shareholder value.

You're probably right T4P, and looking at the fact that Avct now has representation in the USA where the presentation is going to take place it certainly could be a turning point. However, I am not sure whether Affimers have undergone human trials yet, if not, this could still hold up progress.

The major problem that Avacta has, is that no matter how groundbreaking or promising the announcements are, and from what I have read, affimers certainly hold the key to some amazing research opportunities, we are given no idea about the quantities or potential revenues that could be achieved should these research projects be successful. I did read some while ago that if a particular company was successful in its endeavours with affimers, they would be paying Avacta " many millions of pounds". So I am convinced that at some point, Avacta will be a very successful company, but without any figures and quantities we are stuck where we are, which is a long way away from the �2.00 sp suggested earlier this year. The only difficulty now, is when to buy back in.

This shows that the consolidation ratio was far too high for such uninteresting figures and loss making. Unless we get some decent revenue figures, this is going nowhere I'm very sorry to say.

Hopefully this month we will find out what all this means, because up to now, this has been one of the most frustrating shares I have ever owned.

It may be of some comfort for you to know that you are not alone Pandy2. I am in exactly in the same boat and it has happened to me on many occasions. I believe that we are not really supposed to be dabbling in the stock market because we are just not up to speed with the reality of how the market works and how we are playing financial chess with the unseen opponents called the market makers and if you are not very clever, you stand no chance. The MMs will always know what is going on before we do and as I have said many times before, they are out to rob you blind and they are very good at it. However, if you are shrewd enough, I am sure that it is possible to make money here. I am well in profit with both IQE and ITM, but whether that situation continues is entirely up to me. Am I a gambler or not? Sadly I am and I am convinced that both companies have great futures so I am going to stick with them and if I lose, that's my fault, but if I win, that will be down to me also but either way the experience of the last eight years has broadened my mind and given me a tremendous interesting hobby and I have a strange kind of pride in the fact that I am having a go at improving my lot instead of whinging about poor interest rates on my savings in the usual investment houses. So chin up Pandy2, at lease you are giving it a shot. GL.

I have a few daft questions. If we are all going to be running around in hydrogen fuelled cars, I assume that there will be extra demand for water, so what happens in a drought? What happens to all the separated oxygen? If water vapour is the only exhaust, will congested areas be fogbound on cold days and what sort of water vapour will be given off? Distilled water or de-ionised water which is very corrosive? Surely the exhaust would have to be condensed, stored on board and drawn off as part of the re-fuelling process. Yes, I am now open to ridicule, but I just wondered.
