I am astonished at the lack of understanding by some posters on this board as to how long it will take to incorporate a new and ground breaking technology into today's materials. It could be many months or maybe years before some of these collaborations come to fruition and to expect results within only a few months of an announcement is surely the height of naivety.
Looking back over HAYDs RNSs, HAYD has reported far more agreements and collabs than VRS, but the share price has plummeted to 47p. At least the VRS "hot air" as RChad likes to call it, has made us some serious profit and not a massive loss as with HAYD.
Thanks for that BD. A very honest, realistic and may I say reassuring interview from a level headed CEO. Looking forward to steady growth and a stable SP, although the odd rocket wouldn't go amiss.
Avacta has always had the potential to make investors some serious money and it is at last showing that perhaps now is just the beginning. However, having invested heavily in VRS, which also has the potential to grow beyond my wildest dreams, is it time to diversify and buy back into AVCT. I would love to see Avacta do really well because having met Dr. Alastair Smith on a number of occasions, he deserves every success, being the genuine and brilliant man that he is. Perhaps the sp will settle back a little, then it will be decision time.
I hope that these add ons will benefit the finances of the company and not increase the cash burn.
Thanks for that TT. Excellent find.
Of course, I'm only guessing, but from past experience I would expect the sp to take a dive to scare off the unwary. and gradually creep up before the weekend, but it will depend on buying pressure. If the news is very good, stand back!
Usually the drop is to scare you into selling, then the rise towards the weekend is to make you think that news is due on Monday so you buy then another drop next week to scare you into selling......and so it goes on, gradually milking you of your money, which is why I just hold.
Just back on. VRS up 3p.
Yup. Pain in the neck.
Once again, an excellent podcast by NR, but what I find odd, is that Motherhen on the HAYD board can come up with an assessment ( having looked into VRS in great depth ) that completely rubbishes VRS and what NR is claiming. Are most people on the planet missing something or is Mh just plain nuts? I believe NR by the way.
Vrs has joined the same group as Haydale.
Any comments on Haydale’s announcement this morning?
Yes Steven, it’s telling me that you should sell your VRS shares, if you actually hold any, and go and play with the penny shares you seem so keen on and leave the serious stuff to us.
When dealing with the stock market, you must always remember that it is the job of the market makers to rob you blind, and they are very good at it indeed. When I look through the graveyard of my past investments it is so obvious to me now that these stupid little penny shares were a total waste of time and money and did nothing but line the pockets of the management running the companies and the market makers. So after searching high and low for a really good, worthwhile company to try to recoup my losses, I believe I have found it. So over the long term, this is the company for me. I don’t care how the MMs try to relieve me of my shares, they are not getting them. I don’t use stop losses, although I may consider it when the sp gets incredibly high so the only way to get me to sell is by trying the old tree shake, which won’t work, so I ignore the minor ups and downs and just let it ride.
Yes, been with HL for quite a while. Very good company, intelligent people on the other end of the telephone, easy to use and to move between accounts.
Thanks Fred. I didn’t want to reply to such a pi55 poor response, so thanks for doing it for me.
Well done NR and VRS.
If it makes anyone feel any better, I lost £4K on IMM which was going to be a dead cert, but luckily I only sold £1.5k of VRS to top up. It won’t happen again. I have come to the conclusion that VRS is a very special company with terrific potential and so that’s it for me. Come he’ll or high water, my money is staying put because if VRS doesn’t make a shed load of money, I might as well give the stock market up.
House on the market, relaxing in France, watching my main investment climb nicely, couldn’t be better.
