Absolutely no problem Captain. There are some great posters on this board and I appreciate everyone keeping us in touch with what is going on and I really hope that all investors in VRS realize their dreams, because we deserve it.
When you've had my kind of luck over the last nine years and the kind of money I've got invested in VRS, believe me when I say that 1.60 would be brilliant. It would mean that I will have met certain targets that I have set myself and also take a load off my mind and prove that the time and effort I have put into this pastime hasn't been wasted. Having said that, I am expecting great things of VRS and if your suggested target is reached it will be life changing for me and even though I am well past retirement age, there's still time to really enjoy some serious money. For now though, 1.60 would be great.
I can only dream of 1.60
I have been following and investing in Avacta since 2009 and I'm afraid to say that I have sold most of my AVCT shares now because I am here to make money and I've only lost money here so far. The Affimer is a really good product, but until it can be used on humans (in vitro happening in 2019) and it can be sold in vast quantities the sp will stay where it is. Most of the RNS's are of a highly technical nature and have very little commercial value and any announcements of commercial collaborations don't contain any signs, so although I still believe that Avacta will rocket one day, I cannot see this happening until 2019-20 and there are far more lucrative shares out there at the moment.
Thanks anyway.
It's always worth remembering that the Market Maker's job is to rob you blind and they are very good at it. Always think about what is driving the sp.
Despite today's world wide treeshake, I'm still much further in profit than I would have been had I not invested heavily in VRS. Long may it continue.
Well said Ailie123.
If that's a reply to my post, I'm mystified.
Some while ago I sold a load of IQE to buy more VRS and now there's talk of iPhone-x being cancelled due to lack of interest and at 1k a pop I'm not surprised. Thanks for all the interesting and valuable info on here. Much appreciated.
This presentation by Covance should be a real eye opener!
The old saying that you should not fall in love with a share has proved to be very true in the case of Avacta. Even though I have a huge amount of respect for Dr. Alastair Smith ( and He's a really nice Guy ), if the company isn't making me any money, it has to go, and I'll be back when there are some £ signs in the window.
Seems like a positive move. Just hope it's affordable.
Not much chance of the £2.00 target being reached this year then. I am sorry to say that I hold very few of these now as one can't wait around forever, but still aim to be back in when things start to look promising as I'm sure they will do at some point in time.
Hope you are into VRS. It's really going places, as will ITM. Now my two largest holdings.
Same problem with VRS. We've been through the wringer over the last few days, but just like ITM, if you are confident in your research you have to dig in and stay with it. It will pay in the end.
..this morning. Looking very good indeed.
I am left with 48 shares worth stuff all and that's why I no longer waste my money on these loser penny shares. I came to this conclusion about three years ago after losing quite a lot of money in the years before that, so now it's only the good stuff where you make small amounts of money slowly but surely. You are right though, this bod should be strung up as should be many others, but it won't happen and it's our fault for falling for this rubbish in the first place. Hopefully investors are gradually getting smarter, because there are some great companies out there giving great shareholder value.
...about the drop, I just bought some more so it was bound to happen.
...for your answers.
