This pattern has led to outbreaks of preventable diseases like measles in regions with declining immunisation rates. Public distrust, misinformation, and weak communication strategies, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, further exacerbate the problem. JFK Jr's well-documented, wild notions do little to help or to counteract hesitancy or establish firm vaccination protocols. It’s a sad reality that society often lets health deteriorate and illness rise before recognising the indispensable role of vaccines in public well-being.
