Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
I'm presuming this means the SSSIG deal has landed and someone has let slip? Although the MCap here is tiny, so anything could shift this very quickly.
Nice rise here - I’m actually dreaming of getting my money back now! Was 96% down. Now only 80% :-)
EToro has closed the market on CINE. Shorters are trapped and very unhappy judging by the comments page!
More likely the mother of all placings, based on previous performance (yes, I am bitter!)
Feels light on progress to me. Nothing in there we didn’t already know. Hopefully stay above 0.8p today.
This really can’t decide if it wants to be in the blue or red today. Still l, it’s all small shifts in the margins. Really hoping for a big RNS soon as this has become my single biggest holding now.
If you like trading more than holding, this share has been a dream over recent years. Hype + speculation usually followed by nothing materialising that remotely reflects the spike in MCap - so it slowly drops back down to 3.5-5.5p. If you are a LTH, there’s nothing to worry about if you believe this can survive and find regular business with partners (leading to buy out). Just accept the ups and down in the meantime. If you’re a trader, great too, you’re only risk is being out when a permanent re-rate happens. But that comes with the territory and you accept that. Neither LTHs nor traders have the wrong strategy necessarily, it’s just a choice. And why there is a need to so quickly label people as rampers or derampers is beyond me. And if you think LSE boards are full of people with enough clout to shift an SP, you probably shouldnt be playing with stocks in the first place. GLA, whatever you’re investment strategy :-)
I find the same with a number of shares. Each time they rise, I convince myself that this is the significant, permanent re-rate.....and it then drops back down (Same with my experience of SAR). Strangely predictable yet I rarely learn. So have sold PYC on this rise - which almost certainly means I’ll be wrong this time! Although this time at least there was clear hype on impending news, which then turned out not to meet the hype. Still, there might be more contracts in the offing.
For those like me who sold out on the news last week, interested to know what your re-entry price is. Mine is 5p. Still have lots of faith in PYC over long term (particularly its ability to spike with so few shares about), but “big announcement” now done and feels like it may go quiet for a bit. For those still holding, happy if I don’t get that 5p chance and it rises from here. Will be my fault for gambling on a drop.
??
8% down. 8.5p
I’m out. Feels like a classic sell on news. They always said it would take two staff 5 months to complete the work so it was never massive. PYC is a massive gamble anyway. Likely to fallback now to an MCap of circa £5M. At which point, I’ll be back in! GLA
Interesting this. The SP closed artificially low at 0.74 last night (actually final sp was 0.81). So it meant it opened up today “9% higher” which was an artificial rise. But it creates momentum with no news and others pile in thinking there’s something imminent. That said, as an LTH, I hope there is.
Holding fine around 220p. For a minute, I thought we were about to break out beyond 230p!
baserite, I'm not sure the purpose of these boards is to "inspire new holders" is it? That's SAR's job. I find these boards quite useful to compare trading strategies. If you just want a one way flow of inspiration, I suspect you'll be sorely disappointed on LSE :-)
Yes, if this drops back to the usual trading levels, I'll buy back in. But I'm really hoping for everyone that it finally stabilises at a higher base level and then the next positive news (even if only positive research news rather than a licensing deal) can drive a re-rating
Just sold a little SAR to invest in my other small pharma hope. Having been in SAR for 11 years and seen more ups and downs between 0.3 and 1p than I care to remember, I find it difficult not to top slice a bit when we get to this level. Still hoping Tim can finally land the big deal though....... GLA
Just sold some SAR to top-up here. There is a chance I am putting too many eggs in this one basket but I'm hoping this is the retirement plan! Looks so promising
Have been fortunate enough to make a little on SNG. After researching all week, I'm going to invest it in HEMO. Looks really exciting and perhaps most interesting is that there are a number of strings to this bow - all of which could be huge.
sold at 0.04. Can't believe I even got that
As a LTH in SAR, a good result today will be to end at 0.8p and stay around that next week. We need to try and consolidate at this higher level. Otherwise the inevitable retrace back to 0.5 is on the cards. Today's RNS was fine, but we need monetised deals.
