Politics and sentiment drives share prices but at the moment we have neither driving anything. This will continue well into the New Year. Only advice is to hang in and wait. I for one will certainly not be getting out by selling and tempted to buy more.

Raising money by whatever means usually means dilution and share price fall but I guess its the ASX trading halt whilst placing put the skids under it temporarily. Why AIM don't adopt similar suspensions when placing is proposed or happening I don't know. It would remove alot of skulduggery and insider trading at a stroke but then enforcement and punishing insider dealing was never was or is never a strong point where the FCA (FSA were even worse) is concerned. A free for all on AIM wild west is the norm and I guess will always be with the favoured few in the know continuing to rip off us small investors on a regular basis.

They could present all the evidence they want to the FCA and they would not do anything about these scandalous leaks. The FCA have and are proving toothless and ineffective and they are probably all working from home now anyway.

Havieron discoveries are already big but the whole area could turn out to be a whopper and judging by the drill results so far we are well on the way. Pity the market didn't acknowledge the fact and it is fact not pipedreams.

Good advice but everyone should know not to invest if you cannot afford to lose it all but many ignore it. Bit emotional watching your hard earned dough going down the plughole but it is a good time to buy!

What does it take to get this share moving. I don't know and I don't think anyone else does. IME even once mining anything promising doesn't change sentiment but then that is AIM. Persimmon - That's as maybe but the UK has depleting reserves of gas and sod all storage faciilties, no alternatives other than Norway or shipping it in at the mercy of the exporters and no sensible plans for replacing gas. The Dutch went down the same road as we're going after Groningen was discovered and flogged off much of it and look where they is going now and they too are worried about supplies as well as the environmental impact. That's despite getting prepared for the shortfall. We've just carried on our dependency and done nothing about the impending problem. Just as a matter of historic interest many years back the biggest onshore oil field in Europe (peakiing 110,000 barrels a day in the 1990's Wytch Farm Dorset faced significant opposition to increasing well sites to be on natural conservation areas covering the Studland Bay area. Thanks to extended reach drilling and latest technology at that time they were able to concentrate and rationalise the drill and production sites closer to Wytch Farm despite the fact that wells extend into and under Poole Bay. Its happened before so W Newton could come up with innovative solutions without extending drilling footprint.. Technology has move on alot from Wytch Farm and Goat Horn development days so its more than possible Rathlin etc could resubmit a much reduced footprint admittedly at higher costs. As regards the project overall the political will just has to change in the light of the energy mess the UK government is heading for and dependence on Russian and Norwegian gas imports.
