MIrasol, no they don['t know something we don't know. They just follow the herd, Its the one's that buy ahead of news and sell on it. These are the ones that know something us ordinary investors know and I don't like it one bit. FCA is toothless and useless at policing anything.

Using my brains sir I would be willing to bet that ahead of any figures (if good and if poor vice-versa) the info will leak out and the share price will rise (or fall ahead of any news, placement flow rates or whatever, AHEAD of news, RNS figures will be published and SP will fall either way. Us punters are on a loser every time because we are not privy to information (insider information to make no bones about it) before its announced. As simple as that. The FCA are incapable of stopping these leaks and in many cases unwilling to even if they knew what was going on. Toothless pussycats and rife with 'old boys'

Problem is its not us who get the leaks, it's those nearer the company. Us ordinary punters, the ones who the company are totally dependent on, who suffer. Same old same old on AIM I was reliably told by someone 'in the know' who's company is quoted on AIM that its the legal beagles that get the leaks and of course they are above reproach because they are in such a respected 'professions'. But then that might be just fake rumours put around by fake news. You pays your money and you (usually) get burnt fingers.

but you can't get away from the fact that trades are so much healthier than pre-consolidation and that speaks volumes. Serious investors are being pulled in rather than the chancers and daytraders.

Hardly fantastic just what we have been waiting for. Fantastic would in my book be if *****tone and Wingfield Flags come up with promising flows in tests but that's all in the future. Its been a long wait but well worth it.
I hope any naysayers have noted these results and will come into the 'tent. Then of course there are the other fields. Wressle is the first of many potential game changers and hopefully will prove to be the most troublesome delivery in hindsight. But drilling wells is never straightforward especially for oil and gas minnows like UJ otherwise there would be alot more around which there aren't . Onshore is alot cheaper and more attractive than risking billlions on offshore developments and we do well to remember that.

Similar pattern of trading emerged during 2008 followed by a sustained rise. Perhaps wishful thinking on my part but have seen this sort of pattern before in 25 years of trading gold shares.
