The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
These debates remind me of a senior Norwegian offshore manger whose English wasn't brilliant berating his management with 'These people in charge think I know nothing'
.............but 'I know ***k all.
How many on here know all?
Scotty don't you watch all the videos and RNS concerning the company? I don't think you have otherwise you wouldn't make such trite comments like a stuck record.
All drilliing is speculative in one way or other especially if your target doesn't hit the real target. That is the reality of mining and come to that oil exploration. You never can be sure till what comes out of the expensive hole you have expensively drilled. By spreading the risk by looking for numerous metals and spinning off those likely to offer a good return, still speculation, at least we can ensure we don't run out of money which is always a risk with one trick ponies, even Kavango, and we will succeed no matter what the doomsayers pontificate. The old saying, not for widows and orphans should be amended to not for punters who expect a fast buck with little patience.
I find it incredible the negativity on this board re Molopo. I think we are better off without these punters who regard anything that isn't some sort of bonananza grade as a disaster especially given that the the finds have yet to be assayed. Go somewhere else to spread your pessism.
Hope it continues especially now we are reaching out to the Americans where they do things differently than the bureaucratic Brits. May the journey succeed, I certainly hope to actually start showing a profit (one day soon). Lots of potential now I feel.
Done my best to understand the RNS results but am somewhat confused but it seems like Ben Turney is well pleased with the tailings and if he is happy so am I . Especially given that the stuff has already been mined. Theres gold in them thar tailings but it does seem a bit over the top to me but then I am not a gold tailings person. Either way with the POG unlikely to fall this is 'almost ready' cash once the processing comes available.
Eawinner - I stand corrected silly mistake of mine as I sold on the way up and bought again on the way down before the SP plummeted and should have remembered better but the years pass quickly these days but not that quickly !
Of my early gold share investments, way back in the last century when gold was $200 an ounce, shares were usually valued on the gold mine resource even though it was in the ground, often misinterpreted due to poor technology, and had yet to be dug out, often at great expense. It did seem rather daft to me but every time gold rose the exploration companies did likewise. How times have changed with a huge gold nugget at Havieron and the potential for more the main preoccupation seem to be obstacles, aquifers availability of the mill but a stones throw away etc etc etc. ad nauseum . If we were back in the old days Greatland would be valued at a record SP. Its ironic that we made it into the high 30's over 7 years ago when the delineation of the huge Havieron resource was yet to be defined and the gold price was half what it is today. Doesn't make sense does it.?
Is IQE meteoric rise as far as I can perceive based on zilch it has to be a lemming run
Wow have you seen the latest, the Chinese must in real gambling mood. If the penny doesn't drop now will it ever?
That is driving this crazy. I invested in here many years back on the back of the unique wafer chip technology but gave up waiting but still take a look at it from time to time. Having looked at their accounts etc and RNS but apart from the technology aspect I can't see anything that is driving this spike. Can anyone enlighten me or is it just lemming driven? What has actually changed.
Is being warned against by China I see. Probably getting worried about their nation of inveterate gamblers ploughing their money into gold much as they did with with Evergrande (and others) property speculation in 2021. When the gold price crashes which inevitably it will I guess the Chinese government would be faced with another financial crisis but they've probably bought enough themselves to tide them over. Meanwhile the hype continues.
The US market is where its all at and this is a relatively simple entry point into the 'CanDo' philosophy where investing in the market is 'normal' for the average punter. Unlike the UK where the suits MMs and all the hangers on dominate and seem to think the market is for them to wheel and deal in to the exclusion of ordinary investors.
This is what its about
Through trading on the OTCQB, Power Metal will be able to engage with a network of U.S. investors ensuring that they have the same level of information and disclosure available to investors in the United Kingdom, but through U.S.-facing platforms and portals. In addition, the OTCQB trading facility will provide U.S. based investors with the ability to access the Company's Ordinary Shares in U.S. dollars during U.S. market hours.
If accepted this will really help POW and our share price. This has given a huge boost to Union Jack Oil one of my other holdings for the simple reason that such companies as ours are more highly valued in the US . AIM and FTSE need to wake up and smell the coffee if they are to survive and prosper. UK is stuck in the last cenury.
Have moved on to fields anew now all I have to read is Hcrap
Make the consolidation price of 3 years ago but maybe that is too much of a daydream
And day traders are moving in on this share thank gawd
In a week! Be lucky to get achieve this in a month in UK thats always assuming permission was given and not obstrructed by the green lobby and everyone and anyone.. Difference between night and day. I await the future share price with interest
James - I don't agree that consolidation has hit the SP, its up on the day and is doing rather nicely at the moment. Just about every consolidation I have had shares in have been hit hard following consolidation in the past, mostly for no good reason, so if we can continue as we are the further we are on from consolidation the more likely we are to stay strong. What would be nice is some good news but Molopo is by no means the key especially with our exposure to gold , copper and uranium to mention but a few. GLA
