This allows viscous refinery waste to be blended with small amounts of specialist chemicals and water to create emulsified HFO – releasing valuable distillates, otherwise degraded by their use as diluents to produce conventional HFO from waste, significantly improving refinery performance.
How does MSAR®️ work?
MSAR ®️ multiphase superfine atomized residue replaces diesel that makes up to 30% of HFO content with 29% water and 1% proprietary chemicals. This emulsion acts as synthetic heavy fuel oil for ships and power plants that currently burn fuel oil, but is cleaner and more economical than standard HFO. Cheaper water replaces valuable diesel, lowering the price of HFO production, while that diesel can be brought to market at much higher prices.
