Newmarket Investments is in the support services sector and is currently trading at 0.25p per share. In the last year Newmarket Investments's share price has ranged from 0.25p to 1.63p.

Pixel Interactive Media Ltd, (AIM: PIXL), a leading Asia focused online advertising sales company, today gives notice of the Company's Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held at 1700hrs (local time) on 18 June 2009 at Unit 1002, 10/F, 100 Queens Road Central, Central, Hong Kong. Copies of the AGM Notice, Report & Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2008 and AGM materials were today posted to shareholders. Having done some research on this share I've jumped in today. Looking at medium to longer term investment. Don't know if the recent rises will continue at the same pace but I certainly feel this one will continue to grow through time. All IMO of course. GL to all in here.

The Company bought an affiliate marketing business (Easy Growth) in China in 2007 which obviously didn’t work out as they ‘wrote off’ that investment at a cost of US$4.4 million. This is out of the way and behind them now and they’re still cash strong and operating in a growth market. More detail in trading statement below. GL. On 20 April 2009, pan-Asian online advertising group, Pixel Interactive, released F08 preliminary results in line with its March trading update. Whilst group revenues rose 51% to US$19.6 million - with strong revenue growth in all territories – underlying operating profit fell 54% to US$0.75 million as a consequence of a sharp fall in profitability in China, where the business mix has migrated towards lower margin display advertising following disappointments at Easy Growth, the Beijing-based affiliate marketing business acquired in 2007. The group incurred a US$4.4 million impairment charge in the period, fully writing off its Easy Growth investment. Management said that trading in the current year had "started well" and that it continues to expect growth in revenues and profitability in the current year. Impact Whilst the Easy Growth acquisition has been a significant disappointment, the strong growth in Pixel's Shanghai business during 2008 gives grounds for optimism that the company remains well positioned to benefit from the very high growth rates in the Chinese online advertising market.

The main details are on this board (thanks to oilbarron & nkotb) so I won't repeat on that. My main reasons for buying into this one are; Key player in their market, fairly stable marketplace with good prospects for growth, management team are significant stakeholders, cash rich and current sp would seem very undervalued. I feel comfortable with this one just on it's cash position alone. Not a short term trade (IMO), I'm in here for the medium to longer term and will probably top up from time to time. As I said before I'm not a ramper and this is not a recommendation. DYOR and see if you're comfortable. GL to all in here.

Going to do a little bit more research on this one but seriously thinking about tucking some away for a medium - long term punt next week.
