Managed to get myself 2000 of these little beauties through First Direct. My first purchase in IDG and happy to be in.

Just off the phone with First Direct. Very helpful chap at the other end told me that there is a very small volume of stock available on IDG at the moment. Said that different brokers may impose different buying limits, First Direct's limit is 2000 shares per trade at the moment. Also said that I may be able to place a larger order but price would probably be higher as dictated by the MM's.

I'm not looking for a quick hit here but if I can turnaround a nice little profit in 3-6 months 'll be happy. MONI looks like a bargain price just now IMO, may go back in there for another top up. Did you see NWN have been suspended? Lol. Could ruin me if they don't get their accounting policies sorted out ;o)

When you mention your site, are you talking about Riddler's technicals on here or do you have your own website? If so, any way you could pass me the URL?

Having a good look at these and going to do a bit more research tonight. Making money and cash in the bank, looks like this one could be quite a good recovery play to me. Maybe jump onboard soon. Good luck to all in here.

Found this, doesn't look good I'm afraid. NEWMARKET INVESTMENTS PLC STATEMENT RE TEMPORARY SUSPENSION AND UPDATE Newmarket Investments plc (the 'Company') announces that it will be unable to post its annual audited accounts for the year ended 31 March 2009 by 30 September 2009 and therefore is unable to comply with Rule 19 of the AIM Rules for Companies. The Company's shares have been temporarily suspended from trading on AIM until such time as the audited accounts are published and posted to shareholders in compliance with the AIM Rules. The directors anticipate that this will occur by the end of October 2009. The delay in publishing the accounts has occurred as a result of discussions with the Company's auditor in respect of the going concern of the Company. Update The Company is currently looking at a number of opportunities in both the leisure and property sectors which may lead to an injection of additional funds into the Company. Not sure how long the suspension will last but would guess that it will be until final year accounts are lodged. The fact that the Company are in default in their general accounting procedures is not (IMO) good news. Watch this space.

Haven't been able to check in as often lately, been a trifle busy at work. I see our little Company has been suspended from trading on the AIM subject to publication of accounts. I did mention a little while back that I was concerned about the lack of financial news and, from the limited research I was able to carry out, believed the Comapany were late in publishing their year end accounts. Oh dear!

Well said. I'm completely fed up with the fighting on the main board. To be honest I only tend to have a look through it at night now and rarely post. I'm all for listening to people's opinions, positive and negative, as for me it helps make a reasoned judgement along with my own research, etc. I also think we'll see the sp slide here until the OO is out of the way and the dust settles. Onwards and upwards from there IMO.

This one is really just a 'punt'. A few of us got in here a few months ago for a couple of hundred pounds each (money we wouldn't miss too much if we lost out) and I think only whatresearch and myself are left in. All the others have bailed. To be honest it's a bit of a dog (or donkey) this share, I've been in here for almost 5 months and nothing has happened. The financials don't look good either and from what I can see the company are late in filing their most recent results. There's a fair bit of information on this board if you trawl back through the posts but if I were you I'd probably look to put my money somewhere more exciting, and a bit safer. Don't put anything in here that you can't afford to lose. As always DYOR and best of luck whatever you decide.

It was exciting while it lasted, a temporary little pick up on the sp but now back to resting safely around our 0.20p 'support' level. whatresearch.
