99% don't give a **** if he's Greek, Chinese, African or lives as cross the road from us as long as he adds shareholder value. With that in mind what are peoples target prices here and over what time frame. I ask because I sold out of Ggp after 4 years of nothing and 3 months later it rocketed. Not saying Kefi will do the same but the potential seems very good.
My 14p average looked great at 21p a few weeks ago. Diesn't look so great now though. I need to learn to sell on the up.
Hi Starchild I enjoy reading your upbeat and reasoned posts. I fall into category 1 but also agree with some of the more logical negative posts. Like the dismal funding deal that Mr Potter agreed to. However that is water under the bridge now but the real test will be did he learn from it?
I can't look past 2p at the min as that will get me my money back with a small profit. At that point I will need to reassess what shape the company is in financially. I know you and the family hold millions of shares but what is your target price? Or shall I say what is your 1st target price? Stay safe, have a great day and keep up the reasoned and researched posts, alot of us appreciate them.
It's about time this EL was sorted or at least an update given by the company as to exactly where the process is up to and why it hasn't or can't be concluded. If fund raising comes before the EL is granted this will fall considerably and I think that is why some people are taking their money out now with a view to buying back in cheaper after the next round of fund raising. If the EL comes before that, we'll we should see a nice rise. Maybe even get some of us back to break even around 4p.
Give it 6 months or am I just mad. Today's top up should see a nice return if they achieve half of what they are aiming for. I'm happy to wait 2 years if need be and I think that is the difference in here.
I've had a cheeky top up at 0.43 helped get my average down to 1.5p. I teresting reading both sets of views so far today. I'll wait patiently and see where we are Nov/Dec. Good luck.
Why didn't I sell at 21p and buy back in today? Will I ever learn?
Interesting reading views from positive to negative on here and got to admit I agree with some on both sides. However, no matter which way you are leaning the RNS simply didn't contain enough specific information for anyone to say for sure if we will continue exploration in the Bahamas with P2 or not. Nor did it give any specific information around a farm in partner. Instead it left lots open to interpretation and speculation with the potential outcome depending on which side of the fence you sit on.
All any of us can do is wait for the official RNS containing the answers to our questions and try not to convince yourselves or others based on your own interpretations. You could be right but you may be miles out. Only official news will say who is right and who is wrong so until that arrives try to be respectful and civil to each other. We are all here for the same reason, to make a few quid.
Morning Egg apologies I should of been clearer. Plan B was in relation to P1 or the Bahamas acreage in general. But as you say until we have a detailed analysis of what happened at P1 ie did they stop short because they achieved their objectives (working petroleum system found) or because it didn't look to good we won't know if they need to implement a plan B. It's always good to have a contingency plan though. I class the ex cert assets as part of plan A since the merger. By that I mean they were always going to try to increase production to 2500 by year end irrelevant of what happened at P1. Hope that makes sense.
GG as much as I don't want to admit it, I find it hard to find inaccuracies in your post. I hope the BOD read these boards and see the depth of feeling regarding their strategies, especially lly over the last 2 years.
I'm hoping they have a plan B and it better be a good one.
Egg it's the curiosity of what's below P1 that has got lots of folks attention?
Zag I reckon I could sup you under the table. Egg are you joining in thus drinking session? No daft rugby drinking games though. Well maybe just a few.
So it seems the majority consensus is that we are doomed. BOD's just in it for a lavish lifestyle. False promises and untruths. Think I'll stick mine in the draw and see where they are on 12 months. I'm not selling at 65% loss. Let's hope there's some truth in what's been said. Once again the reading here is depressing.
London whale are you invested here? Where do you see BPC in 2 years from now? Genuinely interested. Cheers.
Nelly you hit the nail on the head with this "until we have further update on the technical analysis of P1 finding, no-one here knows how much oil was or was not found."
Infact no one knows much of anything until the company choose to spill the beans. What is getting difficult is deciphering the wheat from the chaff or more to the point who is genuinely posting their honest opinions and not trying to manipulate this one way or the other.
Like I've already said I've topped up on the hope we can get back to 2p just with the ex Cerp assets before end of the year. Anything else positive regarding P1 or P2/farm in or out/Majors/Super Majors would be a massive bonus and hopefully far exceed my initial l target of 2p.
At this moment in time it is a gamble as we haven't been told officially if / who they are in discussions with or what exactly was or wasn't found and how those discussions shape the future plans for BPC.
I understand the risk and the gamble I have taken. Now Where's this RNS?
The difficult part here is trying to decipher the potential cryptic in relation to if or not BPC found enough evidence to tempt a major in to bed for a P2.
The RNS suggests they did but others are very wary of years of carefully worded RNS's prior to another share issue.
I understand that but it comes down to your own research, who you choose to believe, and if you think the SP can recover to either hit your current average or surpass it.
Personally I am of the same train of thought as Tiburn, Egg, Star, and Petro with regard to the working petroleum system and the reluctance of BPC to just walk away. Why not just move on if there's no oil there?
Although that is my personal view I still read and sometimes agree with points raised by those with an opposing view. It's good to have balance and I don't agree with blatant ramping with no rational.
I do have a few on filter but that's not because I disagree with everything they say it's because of the way they say it, and especially if it's repetitive, just got boring. Even more so when they aren't even invested!
Anyhow I decided I may as well bring my average down as I believe we will see 2p again by end of 2021. Purchased 975,000 earlier and much happier now with an average 1.6 rather that 2.7 as before. Was it a smart move or was it just the gambler in me trying to recover some losses? I'd like to think it was an educated gamble based more on what we don't know at this point. Hopefully the next few RNS's will remedy that. Good luck with your investments whatever you choose to do. It's time to take the dog out before I go and deliver the vaccine at one of the mass vaccination sites.
Nelly.. With respect, if you put it as a percentage of how much was lost in comparison to that person's bank balance. I think alot have lost more than Mr Potter on P1. I know I'm still smarting but holding on. Let's hope he can redeem it.

Madder I can beat that. I did buy shares in Ggp and sold them about 8 months ago to put the cash in BPC. You guessed it Ggp shot to 25p and BPC dropped 80% after not finding commercial oil at their much anticipated P1 drill a few weeks ago. Instead of being 50k up I'm 20k down... On paper. Like you I'm hoping Gwmo has some good results and a bright future.
Tiburn Like you I'm hoping P1 ticked enough boxes to tempt a major or 2. If it did, I don't understand why Potter wouldn't of alluded to this on the RNS? He knew the RNS he was putting out would result in a sell off. Or was this part of yhe plan for whatever reason? There are going to be some seriously miffed ex LTH's if Potter announces a farm in/out and plans for P2 with one or more majors on board. I feel there's something brewing? I just hope you're right Tiburn.
