Starchild I admire and end enjoy your optimism and Yes I am invested. Heavily for me. The problem is we are not a new IPO and people don't easily forget what the BOD's said or how they led investors to believe things were better than they actually were regarding funding.
I agree those that invested at 0.45 will do very well but you may as well say anyone who gets in at the bottom in any stock will do well. Percy 1 and how it was managed has put us back at least 5 years. The sp has been a car crash since. I like that you want to focus on future potential. Me too but its hard to disregard that I am currently 90% down on my investment. Eytan will need to gain investor trust again and Saffron will need to deliver if we are to claw our 90% losses back over the next 5 years. This is not and never has been a short term I nvestment. No jam tomorrow with this one however, I do believe in years to come even those sat on 90% losses at the min will be in profit. Keep up the good work.
It's been a proper kick in the d*ck for me investing in BPC. Fully trusted Eytan in the beginning but not so sure now. Sat on a 25k loss so no choice but to sit it out and hope.
What are peoples sp predictions 12 months from now with a positive Saffron result? Im going for 3.2p.
Willec give it a rest mate as you are start g to grate the people who want to see the company thrive. Why don't you and Carl just pm each other. Better still have one swipe each with your handbags then put them down for good. There's enough negativity about without you pair dragging the board further down. Carl I'm glad you've got a gorgeous gf, go spend some time with her and give this place a rest. See you in 90 seconds most likely.
I was hoping for a 20% rise today on the back of that RNS. Not look g likely at this stage.
This sp is painful to watch
HB be interested to know how much you got invested in here. I'm nursing a massive loss on my 30k investment so forgive me for being a bit twitchy. It's time Eytan delivered on his objectives. I'm still watching this space?
Carl you've pretty much summed up my situation here and no doubt there are lots more reading this in our situation. It is very easy to get sucked in when chasing the dream. It is very difficult to ascertain who is genuine on here and give honest views and technical analysis. I've got over 30k in here which is now worth about 5k. Don't trust anyone with financial advice on these boards as too many are here to just manipulate and move the sp a few percent for their own personal profit. And I mean on both sides!
Having said that they are just trying to make money but not like those who buy and hold on what the BOD promise.
Potter lied about the being fully funded and this trapped alot of us in here. I have always been pro BPC but I've now seen that even CEO's will say anything to get funding with no real concern of reducing shareholder value.
Personally wish I had never heard of BPC but I did and my own greed and the thought of easy money has back fired on me. Its not worth selling for me so I will put them away and wait, may take 2 or 3 years but that's life.
It's not the company I was led to believe it was when I invested. The BOD have a duty to turn this around and increase shareholder value, something they have simply done the opposite of since that disastrous funding deal when they simply gave our cash away with free shares.
So it looks like my 2p target will now be possibly 2 years away rather than 2 months away. If at all. I doubled my holding at . 45 thinking it was a smart move. Feeling a bit of a fool now.
Talking of more updates
Given these technical results, since announcing the results of the well the Company has had a number of discussions with industry counterparties in relation to a potential farm-out of the licences, and the Company is now working to formalise and launch an entirely new farm-out process via Gneiss Energy. The farm-out will seek to introduce a funding and operating partner for the next stage of exploration activity in The Bahamas. The Company is in the final stages of integrating the well information with its historical dataset and expects to commence the farmout process upon completing this work in the coming days.
That was 24th March. Surely we are due the next update this week.
Yeah baby
Mr Magic thanks for your reply. As you have stated cruising isn't cruising at the moment. That is why I stated 6-12 months. Give the vaccine time to do its thing and for other countries to catch up with the roll out. Maybe 6 month was a bit optimistic so I will say 12-18 months.
I'm thinking of buying in here simply on the fact that the share price is less than half of what it was in March 2019 just before the 1st lock down. I believe it will recover to at least its March 2019 price and hopefully more. I'm looking at this as a recovery play so not talking jam tomorrow but hopefully over the next 6 to 12 months with the help of the vaccine roll out and travel being allowed again. Or am I just mad.
I hope you're wrong David or everyone here is going to lose money based on your logic. I think you are still hurting from the P1 results. If you would of bought in this morning though you would be in profit now so say we are throwing good money after bad at . 47 isn' t really accurate is it.
Zag I like reading both sets of opinions but your constant pessimism is starting to depress me so No offence but I'm putting in the sin bin for a week or 2. Now go buy some more shares.
David so you don't think it's a good idea to average down whilst the price is very very low. For eg If I had 2 million shares at an average of 4p would it not be worth considering doubling my holding at these prices with the anticipated and expected news flow over the next 6-12 months.
David if I were to take your point of view and sell my shares in BPC, where do you suggest I should invest my money? Do you or did you hold any shares in BPC.
I hope no one jumped in to 88e to try to re coup BPC losses. I know exactly how the 88e share holders are feeling.
Would it be fair to say you are still a little bitter David? To say investors at todays prices will never make money with BPC is nonsensical. There's more chance of making a profit than not at these prices. Behave yourself.

In case anyone didn't see it
Only just got chance to look in again. Thanks for the link much appreciated.
I understand we are using modern techniques but what slightly niggles me is that if we are drilling previously high grade mines, won't most of the Gold and Copper already have been extracted? Or are we drilling into new continuous veins to the old ones? Also did the previous miners target Copper or just Gokd?
