Jono using the name starfish has Irene written all over your post. Are you just another Irene alias. Bougs dick off filter.
Jono alternative views are welcome and it's good to consider the possibilities. The reason I have filtered a few of the others wasn't because of there constructive reasoned views it was because because of the repetitive and gloating nature of them. They came across as nasty and spiteful who take great pleasure in other peoples misfortune. No time for people like that. However, I do like a reasoned alternative and actually find it interesting that Mr Potter may of been spanking us somewhat without us knowing. I would like to see him and a couple of the others purchase some shares as this would restore some share holder confidence.
Cheers Max. Its more of a gamble as I've only done limited research but enough to fancy a punt. News due and lots of potential regarding the copper and jv? Obv the gold is very welcome too.
Been looking in here for a few weeks and decided to dip my toe in this morning. Did someone mention the next Ggp? Bit early for that but I plan on holding these for atleast 12 month to see how it unfolds.
Star as usual I enjoy your posts. The only thing that jumped out at me there was the analysts predictions as I have never seen one that has come to fruition. Having said that I remain curiously optimistic and still heavily invested in BPC. Interested to know more about the working petroleum system at P1 and at what stage we are at with farm in/out and with who? Have a great day.
Jono do you hold any shares in BPC? I appreciate your point of view and agree about some companies on AIM being corrupt. However most posters on here have done their research and know the risks involved. It is obvious you are very bitter, angry and upset with Potter and Co and I get that we have suffered a major set back but we still have assets and a potential farm on that may just give a nice return from today's entry price in the next 6 to 12 months. Anyone that buys shares accepts the gamble and risks involved.
Olda... What if you're wrong and becomes an excellent recovery play with a farm in? Imagine people bailing out on your advice only to find the sp is multiples of today in 6 to 12 months. We just don't knowhow it will pan out but I believe it will recover. Your choice m8.
Anth I hope you're right with your musings. I need this to get back to 2.7p and the sooner the better.
Packman great post at 10.43 re target depth. The lack of clarity in the RNS is one of the reasons I haven't sold any shares. That and the fact I would also make a huge loss. I hope you are right and certain criteria was hit to satisfy potential suitors? If the data was looking better the deeper they went it is confusing to the average shareholder as to why they stopped when they did. There has been lots of speculation on here since the RNS landed, some laced with anger and some with hope. For now it is just speculation until the company address the share holders and explain the reasons and answers to these questions. If there are 'other things' going on behind the scenes ref Mr Koot, BG etc I doubt we will ever get know about it. I just hope it is beneficial to BPC and the share holders aswell as the BOD's. Looking forward to the next RNS with a mixture of emotions. Stay safe.
Well said only pc. Star your posts are appreciated here by the majority. You too Petro. We all await the next RNS with some curiosity.
Apologies for double post. Fat trigger finger.
Only bpc I was thinking the same after reading the RNS a few times. If it was just Potter putting a spin on it to lessen the impact as some think, I think he would of done a much better job. I can't help help but feel it's what wasn't said that is important. Like you I feel there's more to this and more to come. Ay be a few weeks before the next RNS. In the meantime I suggest people should read the RNS again slowly. Then post on here if you see things any differently or if you still feel the same as you do now. Stay safe.

May well be clutching at straws here but could it be a case of what wasn't said in the RNS that is the most important part.
So did they stop at 3900 and if so could the data at that depth give indications of what the next 6 or 700 m might show?
Being very Machiavellian - perhaps a Desire petroleum oil to water scenario in reverse
Imagine that! Once LO are out of the way etc then the data, after further interpretation, you can fill the rest in yourselves.
Zag I think Tiburn is hinting that although P1 wasn't commercial they may have seen enough to believe the data will prove that the working petroleum system will prove commercial.
Once again it is all speculation until we get further updates. I'm hoping that the fact that Mr Potter even mentions renewed farm in discussions means he believes commercial oil is still achievable,
"The Company will proceed to undertake a comprehensive evaluation of the data derived from the well, as we believe the results provide a sound technical basis for renewed farm-in discussions. "
Fingers crossed, I'm not writing my investment off just yet.
Phoenix we have speculation too as well as hope. Don't forget the speculation it works both ways.
Icemax I agree, we are all wondering what next? RNS required to clarify things. Until then it is hope and speculation. Yesterday was a really bad day but I refuse to beat myself anymore. Done that and picked myself up I suggest others do the same if only for their mental well being. Let's wait and see what the next RNS brings before we join the doom mongerers. The sun is out, we have our health and the company hadn't folded. My glass is half full and there may still be huge potential here. Let's see what the next RNS says before we over speculate. Good luck everyone and stay safe.
Page and Tiburn great posts this morning. This is still raw and hard to swallow for those of sitting on large paper losses. It's even worse for those that have had to sell and consolidate those losses. Page your post sums up what I believe/hope the BPC BOD's will be considering and already started the planning process of what happens next. Some have decided thats it, all is lost, the game is over and BPC are finished! I wish them well and good luck and hope they re coup their losses on their next investment. I will be holding for at least the next 12 months for the reasons you allude to in your earlier post. It will be interesting to see how the sp reacts once we have increased ftom 500 to 2500 by the end of 2021. I believe that alone will take us back towards 2p as by then we will know more about TT and the other assets and new investors will be arriving for the next punt. Back to the present time and it is going to be very interesting to see what the P1 data/samples reveal and if they do indeed wet the appetite of one or more of the Majors who have been watching the P1 drill with interest. I think the next few RNS will be very interesting. We are down but we are not out. This still has huge potential and huge risk with lots of cash required. It is how that is managed that will be the key to how we get from 0.6p to above 3p in the next 2 years but hopefully alot sooner.
