Chester .. yes, scancells results to date are phenomenal.. it’s easy with such results to forget that late stage melanoma is a very very nasty thing.

Weeks like the one just gone just give me more confidence that the Aim market hasn’t the foggiest idea of scancells true worth. The only people who will come to the real conclusion are scancell and the pharmaceutical industry!

Obviously only my opinions as ever !

Hey Ripley .. it certainly was an astonishing week .. with the company not releasing any news or new information , the aim market traders raised the value of scancell by c£44 million and returned it to its Monday valuation by Friday ! I’m suggesting that the aim market valuation has nothing to do with the company at all lol !!

Hi Berm .. scancell have certainly attended many top events in the past .. I’m not sure a non attendance at this one would be bad news ? Question is .. do they really need to attract any further interest ?

I’m hoping the next news is the MHRA pulling its finger out or … milestone payments ??

Thanks cleaner .. just something for everyone to ponder .. say scancell do fully fund, by whatever route, their phase 3 registrational trial … (that is likely to be through to commercialisation). What value the company then !?

(Average global is $500M to $2B) .. and AIM is faffing scancell around at this market cap (depending on the day lol) ..

Was thinking about the response to how are scancells vaccines different to car-t for instance …?

Phil’s response … our technology teaches the immune system to create its own cells as opposed to doing it in a lab which could be hundreds of miles away!

Hi lochinvar .. well, my substantial holding is now over 200% up and I’ve never sold any and I’m not about to start now .. Scancell demonstrated today that they arnt ‘just another aim company’ … I think the panel were impressed when Phil said they had got to phase 3 just with the support of a solid investor base … and this one is sticking around for the rest of the journey !

Another great day for Scancell .. (my opinion of course as ever).

I always rated professor Robert Winston (inventor of ivf) .. but thought his question on vaccines was quite naive!?

You could feel Phil’s frustration at the U.K. through the screen lol !

Market cap still well below that of the average phase 3 biotech.

But … I feel after all these years the cloak is being removed !

For any biotech getting clearance for a phase 3 trial is huge news, never mind a registrational phase 3 !!

Also for those that remember, Richard Goodfellow said scancell were not looking to affect an incremental improvement in cancer treatment .. they are aiming for a step change. Well , looking at the most recent data from iscib1+ phase 2 , he’s not wrong ! (So far) ..

All I’m saying is that dilution is not always the swear word it seems to be when associated with aim shares .. it is a means to an end .. Scancell may well find another way forward but from where Scancell sits at the moment , it remains a valid option and not out of desperation id wager …

I definitely think the dilution of a fund raise would totally be worth it ! Remember there could well be cash from milestone payments in the mix too !?
