Checkmate 06713 May 2026 21:39
I was just looking at the data for the nivo ipi combination trial. Here are some findings ..
“In the phase 3 CheckMate 067 trial for advanced melanoma, the median progression-free survival (PFS) was 11.5 months for nivolumab plus ipilimumab, 6.9 months for nivolumab alone, and 2.9 months for ipilimumab alone. The combination therapy showed significantly improved long-term PFS and OS compared to ipilimumab monotherapy.”
Correct me if I’m wrong (Berm) but the planned registrational phase 3 trial for iscib1 combo will use this standard of care as its control arm ?
I’ll get to the point … late stage melanoma is very nasty indeed and should the registrational phase 3 trial of iscib1+ perform as well as the phase 2, then we could see iscib1+ being given as part of the standard of care in not the too distant future !
As mentioned, it’s heartbreaking these things can’t be done more quickly … but due process has to be followed unfortunately ..
Also worth remembering, iscib1+ is the first of a few immunobody vaccines .. prove one, derisk the others !?
Take care all !
