Agree strongly with GMCC. The execs get healthy base plus bonuses for achieving milestones etc, etc. Getting free shares (difference between vesting price and cash in price, I know) which attempts to align there interests with investors must have everything to do with substantial return to shareholders. As GMCC says this will mean either cash in tills because product(s) have got to market or the company has been sold or there has been a lucrative deal. Forget stuff like a listing on AIM, or recruiting high level execs, or meeting budgets-that's what they get paid a salary and a bonus for.
Would be good if this could get passed on to the Rem C'tee.
I am long term holder, I like the execs, incredibly worthy products-but lets get it straight-a free ride in share price appreciation from a historic fairly low level must be aligned to existing shareholders interests which they measure in cash not corporate objectives/milestones.
