At the AGM it was stated that Poly were in regular contact with the board and were being very supportive of Synairgen. Of course, there may well have been Poly reps in the room (we suspected there were) and in any case I wouldn't expect Synairgen to **** them of in any way, but it would be good to think that Poly were in it for the long-haul. Like you say, Size82, they've stuck with it for this long, a bit more patience may well yield excellent results for them and us all.

I do also appreciate that they will likely be as hard-nosed as anybody if it's required to get some sort of return...

Who knows for certain, but there's been some nice positive RNSs recently, a few more conferences to keep us in the public eye (which I know some on here like to ridicule), participation in ITNs "Lungs Matter" program to come and a few trials both sides of the pond poised to start soon, so I remain cautiously positive.

At work, so only had a quick scan of this "RECOVER" trial, but on first glance it really does look tailor-made for Synairgen/SNG001.

If we don't / can't get on a trial like this then you've really got to question whether there's something sinister afoot...

Wigster - was the figure of £2k mentioned in the AGM question ?

I don't believe an actual figure was mentioned. Certainly if that figure was mentioned in the question, and it was incorrect, I would've expected RM to challenge it with a smile and "where did you get that figure from?!" response (similar to challenges he made to other questions) - and I don't recall that happening. I think the focus was more on the massive "value" of the drug, as per the discussions this morning on here.

The "sales" potential of SNG001 and the price vs other drugs was asked at the AGM:

QUESTION: Being positive, let’s say we get on a platform trial, pass it and get SNG commercialised, where do you see its potential? How ambitious are the company?
ANSWER: The general gist was we want it to save lives and want it to be used wherever possible.

QUESTION: Do you ever see it becoming the new Standard of Care? How would the price of SNG001 compare to current SOC?
ANSWER: No reason why not. RM commented that it would represent very good value for money.

There was absolutely no indication from the board that Synairgen would fail because it may be too expensive. They seemed quite relaxed on that point if I remember correctly.

Of course, plenty of water to go under the bridge before we get anywhere near worrying about it I guess...

Totally agree - this could be excellent for Synairgen. According to the Respiratory Futures website:

Hopefully Synairgen's involvement in this program will show them in a good light as one of the leading "respiratory specialists" and put us firmly back into the minds of the trial organisers/regulatory bodies in the UK.

It's over 240 sites, so you'd expect lots of patients and lots of candidate's drugs being able to be tried/compared.

I'd like to think Synairgen are close to, if not at the top of the list of candidates... (wishful thinking probably)

I think you're right Doc. Ref this from Brighty earlier, I think I'd be happy with $1.9Bn (circa £9.50/share) right now ;-P

Good chance, fingers crossed - and at least they have a much better idea of where to start looking based on the previous deep-dive work done on SPRINTER (albeit this was hospitalised patients).

Good to see the word "positive" being used by Synairgen again in an RNS (looks like they listened at the AGM...).

Although not mind-blowing, it does give a good argument for a further more-powerful trial (as indicated by the previous planned progression to A2 P3)

Let's hope that this transpires over the next few weeks and months and that the governmental "powers that be" aren't short-sighted to think that they can make-do with the current drugs out there.

Hi Brand - I seem to recall that when I looked at the agenda a few weeks ago it looked more likely that he'd be presenting on the Friday (sorry, at work so can't double check).

If it does go to 0p at least we'll still have Andybe telling us at hourly intervals that it's a good time to invest for a potential 100% rise in a few weeks... :-P

Just catching up on today's developments. So, in summary, we're all going to be multi-millionaires by the end of the week...have I got that right?

The market clearly doesn't care about any positive developments unless they are going to have an impact in company finances/revenue i.e. commercialisation, takeover offer or joint venture etc.

News of a juicy new trial (with the power/clout to mean that there's a high chance of one of the above happening upon successful results) may see a rise in SP, but Im not sure this would be a huge amount. All other positive news - although welcome of course - is just part of the important "case building" for SNG now.

35p may well turn out to be a great deal in the end, but I will remain patient in the hopes that it will be a lot higher...obviously with an eye kept on the working capital the company has left, since patience will mean nothing when the cash is gone.

Anyway, hopefully our patience will be rewarded and this will come good. GLA, DYOR etc.

My partner works in a school and apparently the headteacher called the staff in yesterday and said that they're worried about Covid cases rising in schools around the city and that they're to make sure they test themselves if they have any symptoms and to also keep a close eye on the kids too...

Absolutely pjmcgra. Also good of Synairgen to hold back on any "good news" RNSs they undoubtedly had lined up for us until this period of mourning and reflection is over.

It's 22.6 (-5.83%) on Google.

It may well be a case of a £300M value/offer in a year or £3B if we wait 3/5/? years while the case for SNG001 builds to completion...
