I agree that it's highly unlikely that LC will prove to be the be-all and end-all for Synairgen, but it will most certainly be a useful chapter in the "formidable portfolio of positive information" which will make Synairgen/SNG001 irresistable for a takeover by a BP / commercialisation.

Ghia - are you able to share/paraphrase the guild thread for us lowly plebs who don't have access to it? TIA.

The following article popped up on my AOL feed today:

Tuberculosis has taken the place of COVID-19 as the world’s biggest infectious killer, a top expert has revealed.
More accurately, it has retaken its place, according to ?Mel Spigelman, president of the non-profit TB Alliance.
Spigelman said in an interview with AFP that COVID-19 had been reined in effectively, with vaccines, tests and treatments developed rapidly.
Spigelman said, “The juxtaposition with TB is pretty stark. It has regained the dubious distinction [of being the world’s biggest infectious killer].”
Tuberculosis kills 1.5 million people every year, working out at 4,109 a day.
COVID-19 is now killing 1,449 people a day, according to the Johns Hopkins University dashboard.

Hi Doc, it was from the IDWeek website. 31 people were listed on the Dr Monk page as attending/participating (can't remember the exact wording and at work so can't check). Hopefully I've not got the wrong end of the stick somewhere.

Putting my lucky pants and rose-tinted specs on, the fast they've put "or trials" when the sentence would still make perfect sence without those two words suggests to me that we could be on more than one trial!!!

Although why on Earth we might be trialling concrete really does have me stumped!!

The use of "Refine" is indeed interesting in the RNS and E-mail responses to members who have kindly messaged the Synairgen team for updates.

Hopefully Synairgen's refinements are more fruitful and useful than the constant refinements and "polishing up" I do to my "What I Will Do When I Win The Lottery" plan :-)

I asked about Ray Jordan at the AGM and whether he was still on board. The answer ultimately was no. They seemed very surprised that I knew about him and seemed very sheepish when answering...

Naewise - Synairgen will be featured on ITNs "Lungs Matter" program in late November, hopefully this will give some useful exposure.

Another positive RNS this week would be great, but I'm keeping my expecttions in check.

We'll hopefully find out more this week, when Dr Phillip Monk presents Synairgen's long covid data from Sprinter, as per the RNS of 20th Sept.
