CJ - I wouldn't bother justifying yourself to people.

I believe you are invested and just are slightly narked that things aren't going as smoothly or quickly as you'd hoped. That's natural and you're not the only one. There's plenty on here who were confidently predicting SPs of many multiples of the current levels back in 2023 and before (myself included).

Levels of 15p, 30p, 60p were being predicted, in good faith with the information around us at the time and of course it is disappointing that we find ourselves at these low low levels and it's human nature to want to vent and share the burden/pain.

To say that your venting and "negativity" automatically makes you a non-holder is clearly absurd, but it's a common theme on this board nowadays, thanks to a small few.

The ups and downs of investing can be very harsh on AIM and it requires lots of patience, that's for sure. People saying "if you don't like it then why are you here, why don't you sell?" make a fair point, but never feel forced to do anything you don't want to do.

I'm certainly not as bullish as those predicting 50p+ this year etc (or £1 by late 2026 as Margaritas's Uncle told him it would be before he invested), BUT I do believe there is value to be had here, hence why I remain holding. I've averaged down over the years, so just under 2.5p would see me back even and I think there's a good chance that will happen, so happy to let the story unfold. Of course, my lack of uber-positivity also makes me a target of the "you're a non holder/stock-basher/sitting a cubicle/multi-accounter" loons, but hey-ho, if they're happy for me to live rent-free in their heads then fine.

Hopefully we'll get news soon, including a full & costed plan of activities for the rest of 2025.

I33 - I understand about accumulation of money and support/resistance points from my sports trading activities. I don't have Level 2 data though, so don't know where money is on the order books and the gaps/resistance etc for MATD currently. I do take your previous points about shares in "sticky hands" and the sharp spikes potential this could bring - I do still maintain that 50p/share would be a stretch though, but would very much welcome these levels!!

As I understand it, we have enough money for the H1 remedial works. This could (should) then start the daisy-chain of Gazelle, H2, Gobi works using this revenue. This is what I understood the plan to be from the AGM.

Takeovers, JV etc then become a welcome bonus IF they happen, but not absolutely essential. We would also be in a much stronger negotiating position as well to realise maximum value for Heron.

For me, posts which say things like "highly likely it'll be 50p in 2025" are all well and good, but they're just a figure plucked out of thin air - why not 45p, 30p, 60p? I think the positive posts which give milestones which will boost the SP (i.e. 3p when signature comes, 4p on H1 uplift etc) are much more reasonable - no matter whether the figures are overly positive or pessimistic, because at least there's some reasoning and rationale behind the potential SP journey upwards and it's something people can debate.

Anyway, over to Tenbag now for his predictable "told you ADW's mate would come along with his "reasonable hat" on again" Zzzzzzz.

At the end of the day, if PC (or whomever) make an offer of between £30-60M as per your valuation, then Mike Buck can either accept or tell them to Foxtrot Oscar if he thinks there's a more lucrative (and feasible) route for the company.

Tenbag, you really do bring nothing of worth to this board. Thankfully it seems that more and more people are realising that you're just here to troll and sow division.

Adw198 - I said " if they offered". I would be pleasantly surprised if they offered the lower end of that (c£325M) tbh, but I guess it depends how desperate (or not) they are for our oil. I would imagine they'd be looking at the asset values rather than an MCap, but I could be wrong. I certainly don't think MB should give it away for £10-15M though, which is what the current MCap would suggest the value is....

Sounds like we're fairly aligned with our expectations. Now we just need MB to make it happen...fingers crossed.

WOS's: "Value of Heron Field - without Gobi or Gazelle? - $1.3 Billion - $2.5 Billion" is probably correct in a "pure assets" calculation - I don't see PC actually offering anywhere near this though.

However, the good news is that even if they offered a mere quarter of this amount we'd still be looking at 22p to 42.50p per share, which would certainly be fine for me - especially if we still had Gobi, Gazelle and Sunsteppe in the portfolio.

A JV would be fine too, as it would undoubtedly speed up the rectification/drilling works no end with a bit of financial and technical clout behind us, trusting that MB negotiates favourable terms of course.

I'm not sure on your option 3 - I would ask why Petrovis haven't done this before? Could be a valid reason, like biding their time until LP and signatures were/are all finally done.

I wonder how the value of Heron right now compares to one with a maxed out H1 and fixed H2. I'd certainly not be surprised if a potential buyer insisted we remove the "unknowns" from these before putting a decent offer in.

This share has always been a test of patience but I'd prefer it if Buck waits until after Easter now for his Operational Update.
