The question that I would ask. Why would you waste time and cost (R&D) to develop a new LFT when you have a potential partner (AVCT) who can supply the blue print & reagent to ensure you deliver 100/99 S&S (with that 99 expected to increase with additional samples).

Our test, based on the 3rd party clinical validation, is the best performing LFT globally, so if it is not good enough for home use then nothing is good enough for home use.

AVCT strategy, as they announced yesterday, was to focus on OEM and Licensing deals. Agreeing such a deal with NCYT fits the bill exactly. It would not be a competing test if the test was powered by Affimers - it would be direct profit to AVCT.

The unnamed NCYT LFT partner. Adding 2+2 and coming up with X however, hear me out;

- AVCT are working with almost all UK manufacturer's - BBI, Abington, ODX, Mol/GAD...thus it is not far fetched to consider that they would also partner with NCYT
- NCYT and partner are working on an AN sample method LFT - match with GAD/AVCT
- Matches all known variants
- So far, the GAD/AVCT LFT delivers unbeatable S&S - not sure it would make sense for NCYT to partner with anyone else?
- 5-30m UK capacity - does this include potential through partners such as NCYT?
- results in approx. 15m - well that sits nicely bang centre of the read time 10-20 minutes for the GAD/AVCT test

As AVCT are directly pushing OEM and licencing deals, and with S&S at 100/99 (CT < 27) I would find it strange if they had not engaged NCYT to discuss working together / increasing capacity.

Any thoughts on why it would be unlikely for AVCT/GAD to be in discussions with NCYT?

It really does not matter. So far, there is not one test that comes close to competing with the Affidx LFT, which delivers 100% sensitivity for the most infectious (CT <27) combined with ease of use sample method. NCYT et al do not have propriety reagent that will work better than Affimers, so Mab, Aptamer etc wont come close to the S&S delivered by the Affidx LFT.

Agree, I have held for close to a year, averaging up multiple times, and have never ever felt more comfortable than I do today.

If UK GOV are interested they are now under real pressure to act (award contract to AVCT) or they will lose the opportunity. AVCT will be able to sell all the capacity they have with GAD/BBI/Abington and others if they UK don't want it.

Ticino, you are confusing Revenue with profit. £5 per test = revenue. Profit per test = 35%.

£5 was selected as its unlikely to be lower. Perhaps substantially higher to non GOv entities.

In this hot Dx market, Dx companies are being purchased at 10x revenues, so even at this very low level (5m, which seems to be guaranteed at this stage, which equates to £300m annual revenues) would put a price tag of min £3b. But that does not consider the IP that has just been proved - so at least double the valuation to £6b. Then the Therapeutics. T/O price at these min levels would be huge.

Lets just assume volumes max at only 5m per month..at only £5 per test, that's still over £300m in annual revenue. I think we can be 99.9% sure that our volumes will be multiples of 5m per month.

I wonder if they spotted some stop loss targets at 251? No way will this end down. The future is clear

In other words, WHEN we are awarded the UK GOV contract, we will be selling 30m per month in the UK. He cannot disclose this yet however its obvious now what is coming!!
