He can announce the sovereign test. He doesn't need to mention company names (he might though) but for sure AVCT will issue an RNS immediately after the UK sovereign test is disclosed.

Positive announcement on LFT was expected here in York today after my trip to HQ last week, so now just waiting for Boris to let this go. Production continues apace judging by the smoke billowing from the factory and the goods outwards yard almost full to the fence-tops.

The Abington holders are desperate for an RNS to confirm they are still supplying the AVCT test so we may have further news today.

Well, who knows what he may speak about but the sovereign test announcement is overdue (GAD + ODX remain on standby) and the data AVCT released today would suggest that DHSC might well in ready to roll also.

The test is best in class by a long way and can now be used to open up sectors of the economy.

PH talks about AVCT selling 10s millions per month by Summer in the UK alone, with Europe and the ROW blowing those numbers out of the water. The potential for global licensing deals (which will now be in HUGE demand) is going to make this a fairy tale story of AIM.

With published results of 98/99 (CT<31) and 100/99 (CT<27) it is hard to see how any other UK made LFT could be selected vs AVCT as The Sovereign Test.

However, when you combine the above performance details with details such as MOL offering capacity to AVCT, the delay with the UK Gov announcement, the lack of action from ODX/GAD (what test are they awaiting), AVCT partners being BBI+Abinjgton+MOL/GAD+ODX (likely), the switch from Saliva to AN etc etc etc then the probability that AVCT will be the UK Sovereign test is extremely high.

Even if CV is not fully completed by Thursday, what prevents AS from giving us an update, detailing the current S&S based on XXX samples.

Urgent update re variant from India.

The delay related to the Sovereign test announcement (it is delayed I think, based on the PA consulting timings and the lack of action from both ODX and GAD) could be due to the death of the Duke and suspension of Gov activities for 8 days.

The delay to the Sovereign test announcement could also be linked to the delay of the AVCT CV announcement. Both (AVCT CV + Sovereign test) were planned for 'end of Q1' so its rather interesting that both are now delayed.

The CV results are highly sensitive (same as an oiler drilling for black gold) so I suspect AVCT is running a very tight ship. As such, would an intra day RNS, released as soon as results were known, be the most optimal time of release to ensure no wide spread leak takes place. I am sure AVCT will do everything in their power to avoid such a leak.

Any experts out there? How long does it take from submission to publish of an RNS ?

HA HA!! The worst ever Deramp goes to Ray! Comparing AVCT to CTAG is ridiculous. AVCT has multiple commercial partnerships with major global partners, has AVA6000 confirmed to be entering the clinic imminently, has big backers such as Roune.

No news is frustrating but should be viewed as positive. There is still no news on the sovereign test, with ODX and GAD still waiting patiently for their instructions. IF the AVCT test was performing poorly in its full scale CV (of which the DHSC have direct line of sight), then the Gov would have instructed GAD and ODX to start manufacturing whichever test is 2nd in line (Mologic?).

Fed up predicting when an RNS might land but I think during the PM today might make sense. I think GOV will announce the Sov test today.

The 'delay' with the CV and the 'delay' with the Gov test is more than coincidence. As others have said, why are ODX and GAD not yet producing 24/7? The Gov are trying to ramp up to 2 tests per day per person, so time is critical! For me, reading between the lines, this is hugely positive for AVCT.

Re the 'delay' I would not consider it a delay. During Feb, AS stated 'towards the end of the quarter' and during the VOX interview a few weeks back, he indicated that there could be a delay vs original timeline due to the reduced cases in the UK. If AS had stated there would definitely be a delay vs end of quarter due to the reduced cases he would have crashed the share price, so he only touched on the potential for a delay.

I remember however do hope that this is different.. there has an active CV (which must be close to completion) and he could have easily delayed the result update until June.

Visainn, you are wrong. Of course AS and team will know exactly where things stand with the validation and, based on what they know, will know whether the CV can be delivered by the 22nd of April. If any doubt, they could easily have pushed the results until May, giving them sufficient time to complete CV.

CV is not yet complete, but they 100% know when it will likely conclude. Based on the date of results (22 / Apr) I would think there is a high degree of certainty CV results this week. I suspect ALL samples have now been collected and they are validating the numbers, hence confidence to deliver prior to Apr 22nd.
