All entitled to opinion but I think given what we know this product will definitely now be delivered to market - with the backing of a GIANT

1. Adeptrix + AVCT collaboration and product developed clearly excited Bruker
2. Adeptrix + AVCT + Bruker evaluated the product together (see Bruker research paper, we know it works...)
3. Bruker takes a stake in Adeptrix for reasons stated - to accelerate collaborations with producers of affinity reagents
4. ACVT announce a partnership with Bruker

Given point 2 above, why would point 4 now follow?

I would think that following CV the commercial details will follow. AS has always spoken of significant commercial progress with a partner capable to deliver BAMS at scale.

It is taking ages, it is frustrating as hell, but hard to deny that it will happen. While many had a squeeky bum when the vaccine news hit, I think we all now accept testing will be here throughout 2021-22 and this is a good low cost method that can be used for mass screening.

You can deramp all you want but the facts are clear. Little AVCT has just partnered with a monster $9B MC Bruker and the reason is that AVCT, partnered with Adeptrix, can deliver a GOLD STANDARD Covid test solution with exquisite S&S.

Validation of a gold standard solution clearly takes time however, even the greatest pessimist surely cant deny that it is 100% coming. When it comes, it will be truly transformational for AVCT with global validation of the Affimers technology.

Don't forget that BRUKER recently invested directly in Adeptrix, taking a minority stake for the the following reasons;

I think this was known (for those well researched) but really nice to see it confirmed and for sure this RNS confirms the BAMS potential is more than alive!

I think it is clear why BRUKER wanted into this partnership and why they tool a stake in Adeptrix. With $22b set aside in the UK and $50b in the USA (neber mind Europe) you can see why this is a HOT area.

I remain hopeful and take comfort in the 23/11 RNS - as no way would AVCT have released the 23/Nov RNS if they were sitting on any bad news or expected bad news.

But, that was Nov 23 - Show some decency AS and provide an urgent update to the market with CLEAR FACTS and GUIDANCE!

The development of an Affimer-based lateral flow antigen test that can be manufactured at scale being carried out in partnership with BBI Solutions has made substantial progress. A highly scalable test device using readily available components and routine manufacturing processes has now been shown to have a sensitivity for coronavirus spike protein in laboratory samples better than 300 pg/ml which is in the range expected for spike protein in clinical samples.

The fact that they are commenting while others suspected to be part of the consortium are not also leads me to think that they are being opportunistic rather than connected.

The fact ODX are commenting suggests to me that they are not part of the UK consortium?

While I personally remain very position, I do think it is important that AVCT provide regular (at least monthly) updates related to the status of the tests.

During Q2 2020, AS comments to market (both RNS and subsequent interviews) led many to believe that the tests would be on sale by Summer 2020. I appreciate that certain delays may be out with the companies control however, we are experiencing a SIGNIFCANT DELAY vs the guidance that THE COMPANY set out to shareholders throughout 2020.

For this reason, we do need regular communication related to the Covid opportunity.

I don't really see why it should be complex.

Assuming UK Gov have;

1, supported with additional machine capacity
2, selected the preferred reagent
3, selected/secured standard components to be used
4, aligned on the NS test method

Should be fairly simply to produce from this point.

@IB - BBI and Abingdon are contracted to produce Avacta's test, seems ODX too. BBI obviously having key input into the design but it is Avacta's test, not simply reagent supply

Initially, that was certainly the case. BBI + Abington were contracted to produce test that AVCT + CYTIVA had DEVELOPED (e.g. Tech Transfer).

However, this strategy clearly changed. AVCT + BBI are now developing a new test - a highly scalable test device using readily available components and routine manufacturing processes. There is also now no mention of Cytiva.

All ties in well with the shift to a Sovereign test supplied via the consortium.

You can be sure that they are going to discuss testing expansion plans.

With the snippets released to the press this week the CAT is well and truly out of the bag.

BBI and Abington are part of the Gov lead RTC, yet are not mentioned in the PHE papers as producing any test. Clearly, they are working on the UK GOV Sovereign test - we can consider this as a fact.. We know that AVCT are working with both and the timeline (although vague) would suggest that we (BBI + AVCT) are very close to D DAY - which ties in perfectly with the everything that has been released to the public domain this week. For this reason I think we can be extremely confident that AVCT is supplying the reagent for the UK GOV Sovereign test.

If BBI/Abington/AVCT/Affimers were to be the Supplier/Reagent of choice to manufacture UK GOV Sovereign test (which now seems more than likely)… this would not only make AVCT a household name in the UK (clearly, would have its own benefits) but it would also (dependent on the terms of the contract with UK GOV) enable AVCT to licence the Affimer to other Governments / private LFT production companies globally. Even if the odds of this were as low as 10%, if that were to happen, it would transform AVCT multi billion MC overnight.

Never mind any of the other IP potential (AVA6000 etc) which is enormous in its own right.

Sounds rampy but I think this is a once in a lifetime investment opportunity.

With a lack of news from AVCT it was becoming a concern that they would miss out on the big £912m award however, with the £912m tender now cancelled (to be re-issued shortly) and with MH talking about 'newly invented' tech yesterday, I think we can now be more confident that IT IS US!!

In addition, it looks as though all of our competition has just blown up.

The world is crying out for a highly sensitive, highly specific LFT and so far, not one company has been able to deliver.

On November 28th, AVCT confirmed that the LFT has VERY GOOD sensitivity. FYI, AS considers VERY GOOD to be high 90s.
