I think LFTx might have been the original AVCT Saliva test. While S&S was exceptional in the lab, the real world results were unreliable due to the potential to eat a Cheeseburger prior to spitting!

I am 99% sure that the Gov were referring to AVCT when they spoke about the Holy Grail Saliva test.

I think its being held back pending Gov contract award. Would be difficult to issue the TU and make no mention of the LFT plans due to NDA.

Tim - noted! But I think the general point is quite valid. The Covid opportunity has thrown a spanner into the works for any II that had planned to participate in the future growth of AVCT. Roune took their chance when they could. Upon receipt of revenues from the tests I think the rise will be explosive as II start to build positions on the open market.

Perhaps they (the II) thought that they would have time as AVCT would need to cash call to fund further developments however, that is becoming increasingly unlikely due to the Covid revenue streams and thus they (The II) are likely scratching their heads at what to do based on the current valuation. AVCT are funded with 50m and thus a cash run way (without any covid revenues) for 4-5 years. The II will have to buy at PI rates if they want to build a stake at this point.

It is a really timely reminder to new/interested investors researching AVCT.

With potentially only 4 months to first dosing, and with that 4 months extremely likely to include huge revenues for AVCT, very likely to see some developments with on-going partnerships, probable to hear news regarding new collaborations/partnerships, those that might be interested to build a stake are running quickly out of time!

I wonder what it is being held back for.... It couldn't be due to the READY, TEST, GO reveal could it???

It seems nailed on that AVCT will multi bag over the coming weeks.

I cannot believe we are still trading sub 200.... the seller at this level will be exhausted soon and the rise will be explosive.

Quite clearly there are many posters on this BB that are #Intheknow! We have known for some weeks now that LFT's were likely to be central to Bojos big announcement on Feb 22nd.... and with the press leaks today we now know for certain - however, not even the most wild dreams could have believed it would accompany the slogan GET READY, TEST GO!!

AVCT seem to have arrived bang on time (who said we were late?) with this huge announcement. Do you believe in coincidences?

Your balanced post is not accurate. YEs, the innova study was slightly larger however its equivalent sensitivity when capturing Ct values of 25 was just 66.7% (vs 97.6%) In addition, our test is AN, thus really a massive improvement on Innova!

Now that the Affimer is proven to deliver very high S&S (best on the market for use in an LFT) you can be 100% sure that LFT producers globally will be looking to licence the Affimers for use in their own branded LFTs. Why would they continue with an inferior product if the spike Affimer could be used with better S&S at lower cost?

We can discuss the capacity of Abington, BBI, Mologic, ODX etc, which will clearly deliver transformational value, BUT the unbelievable value will come from licensing the Spike Affimer globally.

Can anyone enlighten as to why this would not now happen?

The potential is just staggering. How many ££ millions have been sitting on the sidelines waiting for this day, just waiting to see if the test was as good as AS said it would be. Well, it was better than AS said.
