I wonder could someone clarify things for me.
I understand that our next dividend has to be passed at the AGM. Is that in June ? Do we have a date for that. Presumably, it won’t be paid before August. The last one was paid in September 21. I understood there were to be two dividends a year. Did I miss an announcement saying there would be just one this year or when does the year begin and end. I would be grateful if anyone understands this better than I do.
Inflation in Spain is now at 3.29% down from 6.03% the previous month.
This is good as our costs are in euro.
Unemployment in Spain stands at 13% so wage inflation can’t be too strong either.
The falling dollar is not favourable though with ours dividends being in dollars.
I contacted HL and it seems that the dividend was paid on 20/09 but the money is being held within an income part of my ISA account, to be automatically transferred on the 10th of the month. I’m not sure how I was supposed to know that as I received no message to that effect. AJBell have been much more proactive in keeping me informed
.
Just wanted to check who has and who hasn’t received dividend payments which were issued on 20/9. I have shares with both AJ Bell and HL. Last December both were very prompt in paying up while others were saying banks like Barclays took ages.
This time AJBell payed on the payment date but nothing yet in my HL ISA.
Has anyone else experienced delays with HL? ?

In October 2021 Atalaya declared inaugural dividend and also announced the implementation of a sustainable dividend policy that provides capital returns to its shareholders and allows for continued investments in its portfolio of low capital intensity growth projects.. the dividend policy consists of an annual payout of 30 to 50% of free cash flow generated during the applicable financial year and is payable in two Hal yearly installments
I understand it’s about 3p per share and you can nominate to take it in either euro or sterling. Exact exchange rates will be announced on Sep 5th.
