new services from Belfast to Milan Berlin Alicante Murcia and two other destinations which i can't recall, all in the pipeline for the next few months. can anyone interpret for me the likely effect on the shareprice of this current phase of buy-back of shares by Ryanair.

I've noticed that the best performing shares have the quietest bulletin boards.

I bought a few of these (64 actually!) on feb 3rd. Whats confusing me is that my note says I purchased them at .58033. but the price on that day was.75. Is the former amount STG and the latter euro? When I look at trades they seem to be recorded in STG and I purchased them using the AJ Bell platform and within a SIPP wrapper. the other thing that confuses me is that stamp duty was payable and I thought it wasn't payable on european shares ( I dont pay it on Atalaya Mining ATYM. I'm probably talking to myself here but this is a great little share....great track record.

It emerged on Tuesday last that profits are up 10%.

Well Lance, there hasn't been much progress since.

Most reasonable people on here would I think agree that this is not being promoted but could someone please suggest why. I don't get it unless someone is slowly hoovering up shares. That doesn't seem like a good enough explanation. Keeping it down with a view to a take-over bid.....everyone says that wouldn't work. So why?? Too busy? not really plausible.

How could anyone have news of their allocation yet when people like me with a share account with HLansdowne have until Wednesday at noon to decide whether to take up our allocation.

They aren't all sells. The for at 9.18 135,000 was claimed by Mr Onions on ADVFN so several others must be buys also.

The big guys in here will just continue to starve us and **** us off until one by one we leave and they hoover up the remains. sad but true I fear.

People are influenced by what they read on these boards, hence the price which may be beginning on a downward trajectory moves further as fear catches increases. I used to be heavily influenced by what I read on here but I have become a little bit more canny and learnt to second guess what people post.

I wonder what your motivation is. If I were selling half my holding I wouldn't be announcing it in case others were influenced and I got less for what I sold. Most people keep quiet till they have sold and then announce it. Much more likely that you are trying to push the price down in order to top up.

What are you talking about. When you write fiance, do you mean finance or has someone got engaged?

I see British Bulls have put a 'buy' recommendation on EMED today.
