Yes, agree. This is what I meant by consolidating under his own name. But I would like to have an expert opinion on timing and tax implications. And the ramifications of a better tax treatment under a sale of his shares scenario or even a roll up if there were to be a corporate action like a takeover in the future.

The share consolidation from Ltd/Holdco into personal ownership is interesting in terms of timing and begs the question on the tax treatment on a potential sale in the future. Anybody have a grasp of how the treatment would be in each case? At corporate level AK would have to pay and corporate and dividend tax is my understanding and at a personal level would sit at just CGT. The difference could be material. Anybody have tax expertise on this board?
