Ok my school maths was a long time ago and it is a while since I've had to do any astro navigation (involves cyclic trig), but have some real creative accountancy there!

A lot of charity shops have got very savvy these days, anything of real value gets listed on ebay for a better price then they can get in the shop.

Another interesting snippet, from many years ago, our local (small town) charity shop had reciprocal arrangements with others, particularly for ladies evening dresses. Trying to avoid embarrassment of turning up to a 'do' to find you're wearing the host's recent cast off!

Ah, but how much pleasure you could have as an eccentric millionaire. Taking some jackets etc to the charity shop and leaving a tenner in for some lucky punter to find. Would make their day.

You are young enough to take on more risk, granted. But softly softly is a good mantra. Build your portfolio gently and with good research. Sustainable rewards take time.

Borrowing to invest. Well, some do it, but be prepared to lose it all and be left with the repayments to afford. It can get dangerously close to gambling and can become addictive.

I know it sounds boring, but over time I have done OK. Paid off my mortgage in my 40's and have a nice respectable pension that I can rely on and will allow me to finally do all the things I want to.

GGP was a bit of luck, and may just give me a boost up to the first class seat in my travels. If it all goes down a big empty pit, however, I will be fine and without loan repayments to worry about.

It looks like 12 is within reach today. That is the point I had mentally earmarked to start thinking about top slicing as I'm a bit heavily weighted on GGP. But with other expected news....

Not only have you collated interesting information on holdings, but from the number of 'first post' responses, you have shown us all that there are a great number of investors who have been reading this board (lurking with intent!).

Most of them that have given snippets of more information seem to likely to hold longer, this heartens me and allows the notion that if GH says no to an offer, he will largely get support from his PIs.

These calculations are always tricky, especially without full information.

I have in my mind a grade of around 0.75g/t. No idea where that came from, but it does tie in better with the Hav grades being 10x better. A 10x of 0.98g/t is a bit of a stretch.

Intuitively, I would expect, with their low grades that they would be running at maximum capacity to get out as much value as they can. With no expectation of finding better grades within Telfer, the only other option left to then is to increase capacity/efficiency.

With Hav's better grades, using one Train for Hav would be a 'no brainer' as they say. That's even if they only put through 2mt (roughly 20% of one train's capacity). 2mt at 10x the grade is equivalent to the full capacity of both trains?

Sorry, it's nonsense to me. To give you an analogy, pop down to your local car dealership, agree to buy a nice new shiny car of them and tell them that you want £10,000 part exchange for you old car. But you won't tell them what it is, how big it is, how old it is or what condition it is in.

Not enough information to agree to anything yet. MRE and Feasability study needed before I can agree to anything. Can't possibly value something if you don't know how big it is and how much it will cost to run!

Telfer has more than enough capacity for HAV.

If Scally proves up as well, I believe that the capacity is there. If it does get tight I would imagine the ore grades will become key, they would most likely want to process the best grades first. So any others will need better than our 10x Telfer grade go get ahead, but if things get to that point there would be enough cash in the system to expand the processing capacity.

Costa, your bunded fuel store idea is interesting.

Odd location for this, though. n the north side of the dune with the main camp and all the drilling on the south side of the dune! No obvious track/road for easy access for all the kit we know of.

May well indicate where the decline is to be started from, but no sign of and sterilisation drilling in that area, nor is the NW extent better defined yet (not publically anyway) to be able to plan the decline from there.

Still, an interesting conundrum.
