My 65,000 buy earlier has just popped up as a sell, games methinks
Thanks, just got in and screen froze after about 2 minutes
I'm still listening to the annoying pre webcast music SO PRESUMABLY IT'S TOMORROW?
We might even see LC finally start taking advantage of his options, now that he’s had his back pay...
Be interesting to see if LC and CB decide to spend some of their moolah taking up all those options....
I already used the contact form a couple of weeks ago to ask the question about uplisting KR1 at least to AIM but didn't get a response. If enough of us push for this they'll surely have to release some kind of response. Otherwise very happy with my lot here.
Northern Shark - Great shout for the RNS release today, called it perfectly.
Overall looks like we're definitely on our way but very strange chrome earnings being reported for H2 unless I'm mistaken.
The quarter 3 figures (July - Sept) in the RNS on 12th October had the 3 month earnings figure as £1,257,000 - we're now reporting July to December 6 month chrome earnings as £1,005,000
* sorry - typo, 10 years would be great but there's probably an extra zero required at least
It's also interesting to consider the inherent future earnings value of the metal sitting in the mountains of waste we now own the rights to process. Looking at copper in Zambia alone, 300m tonnes at around 0.5% Cu means 1.5m tonnes of copper waiting to be turned into revenue. Copper is around $8000 dollars at the moment and forecast to rise but even taking a long term average of $5000 that gives a future revenue stream of $7.5 billion, probably over less than 10 years - we don't know about margins yet but all we have to do is process it, the mining risk is zero.
Must make it a bit easier for Leon walking in to new negotiations with that kind of security underpinning his proposals.
Also need to factor in the massive amount of copper required for the EV charging station infrastructure to keep all these EV's going.
If you've got the time, this is an excellent interview with our latest institutional investor. He explains all about his methodology for investing and I'm even more comfortable to be in JLP now.

And to have a stab at future copper earnings, the 4th December presentation has Leon stating when we reach 25,000 tonnes of copper units our copper earnings should surpass the South African combined earnings. So if £80m earnings is a realistic prospect in 2021 then we're surely looking at double that within a couple of years. And that's without any additional projects.
The only slight worry for me is the weakness of the dollar but hopefully stronger margins will offset currency risk.
Thanks for the reply Craig, ditto, found him posting years ago on ii before it became inaccessible, top notch guy, posted his plays beforehand and never a bad word to say about anyone ,an attribute sadly missing from a lot of these boards now.
As some of the longer term guys will know, I’ve been here for quite a few years and it’s great to finally see jlp start to emerge into the light.
Kalan used to post here and was one of the reasons I continued to hold during the dark days. Has anyone heard from him? He talked about tucking these away for his grandkids and I truly hope he’s still around to benefit from his own wisdom and optimism.
GLA - we deserve it, long and strong doesn’t begin to do this justice.
Did anyone ever see "Catch me if you can" ? Glaring similarities here except Trevor isn't a likeable rogue. He's vanished with the cash, is currently flushing it through BRH into Paraytec, and guess what, he's a director of both.
If there's one salutary lesson to be learned from this whole sorry shambles, it's to tread very lightly with your cash when the name Trevor Brown is associated with a company.
AIMHO of course and I wish you all well
Thanks Olddrongo, couldn't remember for sure if he was talking about the fine chrome or copper. Looks set for a very interesting 2021.
Cheers

I might be wrong here so maybe someone will correct me but I seem to recall Leon saying in an earlier interview that the quality of copper cathode is exceptional and will command a premium to the market price ?
Have to say guys, the key takeaway for me from the interview is Leon reaffirming the commitment for no equity dilution. Given where we've been over the last God knows how many years, that is music to my ears. And it's not the first time he's mentioned it recently.
Just checked gumtree and ebay but no sign of Colin's cannon but hopefully it's been decommissioned .

I too feel your pain Fuzz, been here for years, had £16k at an average of 3.8p in March, sold 75% at just over 4p to go into cash when covid hit. Sitting on a nice little profit now but could have been so much better. Still more to come though. No-one ever times things perfectly and it's all about risk perception and attitude.
