RE: One More Go2 May 2024 18:18
My brief thoughts in no great order or clarity:-
1. Sometimes this board is a hard place to be. People seemingly more concerned with verbal attacks at each other than actually discussing MOS.
2. The last few posts look more conciliatory and it would be great if we could look to the present and the future. Hopefully rosy future.
3. I think Mark Epstein is being pretty brave to agree to a Q and A involving the Hive. The Hive has shown itself to be no fanbase of MOS.
4. Maybe point 3 is an indicator that there is good news ahead? We will find out on the 11th although I suspect there will be lots of questions that he cannot answer for market reasons. And that in itself can cause frustration.
5. If toffeeman has an average around 0.04p and his strategy is to sell at 0.06p then he has probably played an absolute blinder. 50% profit is good going. There will be a bounce at some point and 0.06p is pretty much nailed on (just my view).
6. Taking point 5 a stage further, that does make buying at these levels tempting (to me at least). And there would be nothing wrong in doing a "toffeeman" and selling when/if there is that bounce.
7. Buying at these levels for most in here equates to averaging down which for some is a no-no. That is fair enough. Personally I have bought some shares at these levels with which I might also do a "toffeeman". I have plenty to also hold with a longer term view.
8. I thought I was doing really well when I bought a decent chunk of the company at the 0.07p ish levels. And I was right- for a while. I am now clearly underwater, which is where no-one wants to be.
9. I am a TR1 holder, and people sometimes think that automatically opens doors and that we must know more things that others do. In reality, for me at least, it simply means that I bought more shares than some others, and at the moment I am therefore more wrong than those same others....
10. While I am not happy to be so far underwater, I am fairly relaxed over the longer term.
11. Moving back to MOS, I concur that EstadioBET is probably going to be the main future for MOS. And Mark Epstein appears to have done well so far to even have us involved. I liked the RNS from the other day. Somebody had paid a lot more per percent to join. And the hint is there that if there to be further investment from outside parties then they will have to pay a lot more per percent again to get involved.
12. There is no doubt that we have "pivoted". But people have gambled for eternity and that will not stop anytime soon. With the partners involved, and the free advertising that EstadioBET will get on numerous platforms, EstadioBET has a good chance of taking a few percent of the Mexican gambling market very quickly.
13. Is there a future for Livescores and Heroes? Without EstadioBET I am unconvinced. With EstadioBET then I think they have a chance. Cross advertising, affiliation revenue etc will create some extra returns.
Apologies to toff
