JD... He is going to talk to the hive.... Cannot remember the membership numbers but it is pretty substantial.
Hi System,
1. I am not later to the party. I first invested pre suspension. Although did go big last year.
2. An AIM listed company that is breaking even or better is doing better than most.
Best to all.
Hi System,
Once up and running, we have been told that the services contact revenue will be enough to cover all costs and even have MOS in modest profit.
Unless BET needs further funding from it's partners, then in theory we are in profit regardless. And if BET does indeed make profit, we benefit again.
Best to all
That should have finished by saying apologies to toffeeman for using his name to describe a trading strategy....I actually ran out of space -didn't know that was a thing. I do have a few other thoughts but fajitas don't make themselves so maybe another day.
And reading back that last post it is a bit of a ramble so well done if you made it to the end.
My brief thoughts in no great order or clarity:-
1. Sometimes this board is a hard place to be. People seemingly more concerned with verbal attacks at each other than actually discussing MOS.
2. The last few posts look more conciliatory and it would be great if we could look to the present and the future. Hopefully rosy future.
3. I think Mark Epstein is being pretty brave to agree to a Q and A involving the Hive. The Hive has shown itself to be no fanbase of MOS.
4. Maybe point 3 is an indicator that there is good news ahead? We will find out on the 11th although I suspect there will be lots of questions that he cannot answer for market reasons. And that in itself can cause frustration.
5. If toffeeman has an average around 0.04p and his strategy is to sell at 0.06p then he has probably played an absolute blinder. 50% profit is good going. There will be a bounce at some point and 0.06p is pretty much nailed on (just my view).
6. Taking point 5 a stage further, that does make buying at these levels tempting (to me at least). And there would be nothing wrong in doing a "toffeeman" and selling when/if there is that bounce.
7. Buying at these levels for most in here equates to averaging down which for some is a no-no. That is fair enough. Personally I have bought some shares at these levels with which I might also do a "toffeeman". I have plenty to also hold with a longer term view.
8. I thought I was doing really well when I bought a decent chunk of the company at the 0.07p ish levels. And I was right- for a while. I am now clearly underwater, which is where no-one wants to be.
9. I am a TR1 holder, and people sometimes think that automatically opens doors and that we must know more things that others do. In reality, for me at least, it simply means that I bought more shares than some others, and at the moment I am therefore more wrong than those same others....
10. While I am not happy to be so far underwater, I am fairly relaxed over the longer term.
11. Moving back to MOS, I concur that EstadioBET is probably going to be the main future for MOS. And Mark Epstein appears to have done well so far to even have us involved. I liked the RNS from the other day. Somebody had paid a lot more per percent to join. And the hint is there that if there to be further investment from outside parties then they will have to pay a lot more per percent again to get involved.
12. There is no doubt that we have "pivoted". But people have gambled for eternity and that will not stop anytime soon. With the partners involved, and the free advertising that EstadioBET will get on numerous platforms, EstadioBET has a good chance of taking a few percent of the Mexican gambling market very quickly.
13. Is there a future for Livescores and Heroes? Without EstadioBET I am unconvinced. With EstadioBET then I think they have a chance. Cross advertising, affiliation revenue etc will create some extra returns.
Apologies to toff
Hi toffeeman.... Your strategy looks pretty sound to me. Don't think you will have any problem reaching 0.06p at some point soon.
Hope it works out for you.
Hi newgrange, regarding the late prints, what makes you so sure they were buys? I'm not saying they are not - I'm just finding it hard to tell on this occasion.
Hopefully we are all happy to see some good news and a positive reaction to the SP. I fully acknowledge that there is a long way to go. On saying that, I also believe that 0.6p (that often quoted figure) and more, is still achievable given time.
Good.... Not could. Apologies
I don't see how it can be taken as anything other than could news.
At least one investor has thought that the EstadioBET project, as it stands, is worth at least $5,000,000, and wants to be involved. And has paid the money to be involved at that valuation.
Looks like the SP has ticked up a little on the back of that news
Thoughts please?
A TR1 holder is simply a person who has crossed a legal threshold in terms of how much of the company shares they have. The only professional behaviour required is to inform the market.
At the end of the day, they are no different to any other investor.
You missed out the service revenue from EstadioBET which alone should deliver break even for MOS.
Also, affiliate revenue too.
Amtech.... You ask "who is explaining?" ...." Weed isn't".
In simplest terms I can only express that I don't feel any need to explain.
Amtech. - you point out that there are lots and lots of betting companies and competition, and ask the question re what sets MOS apart?
When you say MOS I assume that refers to EstadioBET? While I do believe there are things that give EstadioBET an edge, I also believe that there doesn't need to be anything that sets EstadioBET apart at all. It just has to grab a few percent of the overall Mexican gambling market. There is room for competition. Especially as the Mexican gambling market is growing.
Just my ramblings
Roughly 10m bought so far without reply.
Maybe the seller is now a buyer 😀
John Barkers track record is better than most. He knows and understands the markets, has lots of contacts, and has experience in eSports and gaming.
He has had a small advisory role with MOS in recent times. Good to see it formalised and to know that he will be dedicating a lot more of his time to MOS. The fact that he is very much aligned to us, the shareholders, by having a chunky shareholding himself, is reassuring too.
