My sincere condolences to you and your Family.
Grandparents are always a bit special aren't they and when you lose one it is always a wrench- to lose both in such a short time must be heart breaking.
Keep well yourself my Friend- let's hope fervently that TM and team come up with something to combat these dreadful afflictions.

Spot on 100%. For decades we plundered the World, pinching other people's countries, treating the Natives like dirt etc. yet now we pontificate about how folk in other countries should behave.

Trouble is Doodsy the folk who demand the bribes never do get banged up, and the "few pounds" you mention do, in reality, amount to billions. I don't think any of us would mind losing " a few pounds" IF it stopped the corruption but it just won't. As you yourself know it is rife in many parts of the World and I too have witnessed the poverty and deprivation (and the " fines"!!). I'm not saying it is right, far from it, but banging up the odd few bods ain't ever going to scratch the surface. For many of the poverty stricken bribery is their only income, witness the slaughter of game for gain in Africa and being forced to act as drug "mules".

Significant that before the bounce down to 1.70 couldn't obtain a dummy sell to test the water nohow.
When at 1.70 then no problem, but now back up to 1.80 and door closed again. Trading was virtually static until the 10 pip drop in a matter of minutes, but then took off, so maybe drumming up trade rather than tree shaking?

Seems to me the only thing we have upon which to hang our hats is IF (that lovely word) the SDC 1801 preclinical work is successful and IF we then qualify for AGILE funding. Otherwise what other really feasible avenues do we have?

Don't take any notice of my grumbles- a combination of enforced incarceration, frustration, precipitation and many other "ations" too numerous to mention!! Guess I'm not on my own in that respect!!

Occasioned no doubt by folk getting the jitters about this very shaky share and its very uncertain future. I am still in significantly as a VLTH but despite the fact we have been told ad nauseam that we are "best in class" etc etc etc etc nobody has come forward to even offer a workable funding partnership let alone a buy-out. The two China expeditions and the link-up with the dubious Sierra have come to naught and all we are treated to is constant references to "increased shareholder value" and "we continue to seek". Granted the SP has improved over 700% from this time last year but it is so fragile that the least whisper of negativity could send it tumbling.
No doubt I will be subject to all sorts of barracking but so be it-I'm entitled to voice an opinion and if it doesn't sit well with the super optimists tant pis

Only in that it relates to the SFO's incompetence, as has been demonstrated regularly and, therefore, the thought that they may well be struggling with the Petrofac investigation. The fact that even after 2 years Lufkin has still not been sentenced and a Directions Hearing has been scheduled for June, seems to indicate that the SFO is, once again, on the back foot.
On 11th May it will be FOUR YEARS since they started their meddling for heavens sake- if they haven't managed to dig up any dirt on Petrofac by now seems to me they ARE struggling.
