Trouble is today we have far too many self-appointed censors who feel they have a right to dictate to others what they can and can not say, without the dubious benefit of the support of the law, (which itself is slowly but surely being shaped by those who would seek to curtail our freedoms)
It goes without saying that most folk try to avoid deliberately being offensive to the extent that they DO break the Law, but as for being the subject of a "ban " because a vociferous minority don't agree with what you say, having Police "knocking at the door" (and having books banned because the contents are not PC), then we are descending to the depths of the Nazi regime of 1930's Germany, a scourge which was eventually wiped out only after some 75 million people had paid for it with their lives.
