Spot on SFH!!! HL's price/performance reporting is abysmal. I have mentioned it to them on a couple of occasions but they come back with a load of meaningless technobabble designed to obfuscate and confuse.

According to Aviva's final RNS on the share buy-back prog.:
"Aviva has 3,687,321,923 issued ordinary shares of 25p each admitted to trading."
So why is LSE in "AV Fundamentals" above showing "2.945m" thus distorting the company's value completely??

Depending on what happens this afternoon of course, try as I might I can not see us coming out of this smelling of roses and am seriously considering the "sell before record date: buy back after" option.

SP tumbling again this morning so can only think that others are thinking the same way.

As I understand it Directors' bonuses are based upon EPS.
Same Bonus pot divided by 25% less shares in issue and Bingo!!
Apply the rule that Company Directors have only their own interests at heart and you won't go far wrong
