probro.
I get the distinct impression you are not too fond of the Labour party!!
All you say is spot on-the oiks who purport to run this country, of whatever leaning, have always been totally divorced from reality hence the appalling messes and crises we have had to endure for several decades at their grossly incompetent hands. The major problem is they don't listen to the Electorate-well, they do but it goes in one ear etc etc.
Where else can you get a job paying £80k pa plus £200k pa expenses without any qualifications apart from a big mouth the ability to lie through your teeth AND with little or no accountability. Unfair comment on those MP's who genuinely have their Constituents' interests at heart I'll grant you which is why they spend most of their parliamentary career on the back benches.
Re taxation, BP has handed over $17.4billion in taxes over the last 5 years-how much more do the Reds want?? As for your comment about pension funds suffering from more taxation don't forget my Friend that MP's and the Public Sector care not a jot. THEIR pensions are taxpayer funded, index-linked and totally secure.
In these days when "equality" "inclusion" and all the other buzzwords trotted out by the Chattering Classes and bandied around with great gusto by MP's this two tier pension system seems to get ignored.
Oh! what a surprise!
PS
and now the RMT, big donors to the Labour Party, wants to bring the country to a halt in the midst of poss, the worst mess we have been in for years-you couldn't make it up.!!
Pass the puke bag Alice.
